Central 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Comfortable First Floor Apartment

A sunny south-east facing apartment in a quiet development freshly furnished in 2014 with the city centre attractions on its doorstep. The Playhouse theatre, Omni Centre (cinemas and restaurants), St James Centre (shopping), Tourist Information Centre and Princes Street are all within a 10 minute walk.

Both bedrooms have double beds with duvets and pure cotton bedding, and benefit from fitted wardrobes and drawer storage. One bedroom has en-suite facilities with a shower cubicle. Each has a hair dryer with convenient mirror. There is a separate bathroom with a thermostatic shower over the bath.

The lounge is bright and spacious with a bay window. It has leather sofas and is equipped with a flat screen TV and Blu Ray/DVD/Audio player. The bookcase has some DVDs, CD's, books and games for your enjoyment as well as tourist information. Unlimited free WiFi is provided. Please note that the apartment is for non-smoking guests only and is not suitable for children.

There is a fully equipped dining/kitchen which comfortably seats four adults. The equipment includes a gas hob and electric fan oven with grill, fridge, microwave oven, and a washer/dryer. The kitchen is well supplied with cookware should you wish to prepare more than breakfast.

A full central heating system provides heating and a plentiful supply of hot water. In addition, the lounge has a fireplace with electric fire.

The apartment is very centrally situated and a car is not necessary to enjoy all of Edinburgh's attractions. However, if you are travelling by car, there is free parking adjacent to the apartment by way of a parking permit, available on arrival.

The lift provides easy transport of your luggage to the apartment on the first floor.

Convenience and Comfort

We couldn't be more pleased with our nine-night stay in this apartment. It's location is close to most of what Edinburgh has to offer and is certainly within walking distance to Waverly Station which served as our hub of operations. We felt safe, secure, and spoiled for our entire stay here. Definitely would rebook this accommodation when we are lucky enough to return to Edinburgh.

Lovely apartment. Highly recommend it.

My family and I stayed at this apartment for three nights and we loved it. The place is bright, spacious and spotlessly clean. We made good use of the very well equipped kitchen, and the living room was a lovely place to relax after a day in town. The availability of WiFi was much appreciated.

The location was perfect for us as it was quiet at night but very convenient for sightseeing in Edinburgh. We were able to walk everywhere from the apartment.

I was very impressed with the customer service I received. My enquiries were dealt with quickly and efficiently, and the owner made sure that everything went smoothly. We were greeted warmly at the apartment by the manager who ran through everything with us and handed over the keys.

This was an excellent experience. I would book the apartment again, and I highly recommend it to others.

excellent apartment

this modern spacious apartment was ideal for our short trip to Edinburgh. It was so useful to have a well equipped kitchen with the Tesco metro a few metres away we could self cater if we wanted.

Rooms were spotless and well decorated with comfy couches, TV, DVD player and ensuite bathroom in one bedroom. It felt like a home from home and a perfect base for our stay. The apartment is also in quiet area . I would happily recommend this apartment to anyone as it is good value for the location. The only thing I would suggest was that the mattresses were too soft (but that is individual preference)

We used to local bus to make the short trip into the city and also along to Leith to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia.

Just what we needed

We stayed in late April, chilly weather but the flat was warm and cosy, very clean and had everything you need. Importantly for us, it was also very quiet at night, tucked away in a small modern development just off Leith Walk, a small Tesco two minutes away and restaurants on Leith Walk within a few minutes on foot. It's a ten minute walk to Princes Street with regular and frequent buses from nearby Leith Walk connecting you to all parts of Edinburgh. I would recommend and will use it again.

Fantastic apartment in fantastic location

The apartment was big, clean and beautiful. It had everything we needed, and even more things (coffee, tea, a blu-ray player with movies...) The location is great, 10 minute walk away from the city center. The hosts were really nice.

You will be spoiled for choice of things to see and do in Edinburgh but here are some of the most popular. Historical sites include Edinburgh Castle, The Camera Obscura, Holyrood Palace, The Georgian House, the Museums of Scotland, the National Galleries of Scotland and the Royal Yacht Britannia. Enjoy the outdoors with a walk around the Royal Botanic Garden, Inverleith Park, Princes Street Gardens or Holyrood Park, explore the village of Stockbridge with its individual shops and cafes, climb Calton Hill for a great view of Edinburgh and the River Forth, or visit the Giant Pandas - and a lot more - at Edinburgh Zoo. Many of these are within easy walking distance of the apartment but Edinburgh also has a comprehensive bus service for getting around. The nearest bus stop is only 200 metres from the apartment. Open top double deck bus tours are provided by a number of operators and are a great way of seeing the city.

You can shop until you drop in the major outlets on Princes Street and George Street which run parallel. Ocean Terminal Mall is in Leith next to the Royal Yacht Britannia and, slightly further afield, on the west side of the city is the Gyle Shopping Centre. Both are easily reached by bus.
