About Jamie Akiki
We found this house in 2017 and really liked the feel of the house. Kind of a rustic charm. When are not working on our projects we enjoy traveling, going to junk stores and fishing. We hope that people enjoy staying at this house as much as we do.

Why Jamie Akiki chose Edgemont
If you are looking for peace and quiet this house has it.
What makes this Cabin unique
It is pretty much square in the middle between Greer's Ferry Lake and Mountain View.

The property has a beautiful yard and patio! The location is perfect for someone looking to get away from everything.
Senior trip for daughter and 3 friends
Everything was as described in the listing. A little far from the beaten path, but that was nice too. Had a wonderful week with the wife and daughter.
Perfect Little Place!
I loved the feel of this house! We spent our three-year anniversary here for a weekend away from everything and everyone, and I loved the atmosphere the house provided. It is perfectly nestled in the woods but not too far from Mtn. View or Edgemont. It would be the perfect size for a couple or small family and the patio area is perfect for some outdoor time!
Country get away
We love getting out of the city. The house worked perfectly for my brother, sister in law, dad and myself. Hope to come back next year. Thank you Jamie for your hospitality. Congratulations on your bundle of joy he's precious.
Thank you staying! So glad the weather worked out at least a little for you guys to enjoy Blanchard Springs.
Great get-away place! Peaceful and quaint! My great-nephew and I had a great time!!
Great property! Nice scenic route getting to Mt. View! Only 30 minutes away!
Bring your lawn/bag chairs and wood to sit around a nice little fire pit!
Thank you so much for the great review! I greatly appreciate how clean you left the cabin! Welcome back anytime.
Upon arrival there was an overwhelming smell of disinfectant like Lyson(not lemon). Our clothing, blankets, etc. absorbed the odor. We’ve been home over a week and the odor is still in our jackets and quilts we brought into the building. We noticed both bathrooms smelled moldy. Finally my husband discovered the source in the lower bathroom in the hot water heater area. The wallpaper in the upper bathroom was separating from the wall. The bed I used was constructed of rough pallets and the mattress was about a three to four inch foam pad on top of a box spring, not a mattress. We started getting sick overnight and stayed three days. We both came home with bronchitis, sinus and ear infections from bacteria as we are both very allergic to mold. It’s cost of over $800 in doctor and prescriptions since we got home and are still dealing with it. My husband was unable to control his asthma , even with a rescue inhaler, whenever we were confined to the house at night and has been taking breathing treatments 3-4 times a day. They also show TV as an amenity. What they DO NOT tell you is that there is NO ANTENNA, no cable, no dish or signal at all.
Sorry you had a bad experience. If you had called I would have came out and fully refunded your money.
