Great home away from home
This is our second extended stay at this adorable little home in Lenox, each for 3 months at a time. No matter the season, the location is amazing. Cute restaurants and shops nearby surrounded by the beauty of the Berkshires. Only a 30 minute walk to Tanglewood for summertime concerts. Penny is great and easy to communicate with. The home is pet friendly which is always a relief to those of us with fur babies. It’s such a great little space with tons of character, it always feels like home. We can’t wait to come visit again!
Comfortable and convenient
We had a pleasant several weeks' long stay at this small house in Lenox. Located in the heart of Lenox, just a short walk to restaurants and shops, it feels private and is very quiet. It is just the right size for a couple. The bed is extremely comfortable and the accommodations and appliances, while not fancy, are perfectly functional and adequate. Because we cooked in most of the time, we suggested that the owner upgrade and replace some of her kitchenware, which she did quickly. Likewise, when a few minor snags occurred, she was "Johnny on the spot" in addressing them. Working with Penny was a pleasure. We felt at home while at her home, and hope to return in the future.

The small house is right in the heart of downtown Lenox. Perfect location. Several good restaurants within walking distance. The house was traditional with old world charm. Not updated, but pretty clean, efficient, well kept and stocked. Bathrobes-nice touch. Had issue with TV, but Penny was prompt and responsive in solving the problem. We would stay again.

Perfect vacation rental!
I had the opportunity to spend three weeks in the 'small oasis in the heart of Lenox'. It's the ideal location to enjoy Lenox and the rest of the Berkshires. Anything you need is either already in the cottage or available within walking distance and there are ample activities, museums, and entertainment a short drive away. Penny is a gracious hostess and was very responsive whenever I had a question. I'll definitely book it again in the future!
