Exceptional location for this 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the quays of Le Palais.

 

*** Weekend rate for 1, 2 or 3 nights @ 290 EUR, 2 people maximum.

New Year's Day (30, 31 December -1st January) @ 390 EUR, 2 people maximum.

Beyond 3 nights, the "season" rate is in effect. ***

10 windows (tilt and turn double glazing) makes this very bright.

On clear days, Houat and Hoëdic is on the horizon.

The port and the citadel leave while admiring the lock will open to the rhythm of comings and goings of various sailboats and other vessels.

Just 300m from the jetty, car-free holiday perfectly possible and even recommended to enjoy this magical place.

Although the public areas are period (the building was built there more than a century), the apartment was renovated in June 2015 in order to preserve its authenticity: wooden floors, fireplaces, moldings and cornices while combining a modern and functional course good equipment.

The apartment of 62 m2, has 2 bedrooms sleeping 2 + a sofa bed in the living room.

Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday preferably, but we will be flexible about your arrival and departure dates.

Place to holiday: cleaning end of stay and provision of linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels) are included in the price.

Tenants also have free Wi Fi and an HD TV with 100 cm DVD / Blu Ray player. 2 VTC bikes are put at your disposal.

There has put the suitcases and enjoy!

Non-smoking apartment, no pets allowed.

Ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge / freezer.

2 bedrooms:

A room of 16 m2 with double bed 160 * 200 and dresser / closet.

A room of 12 m2 with double bed 140 * 200 and dresser / closet.

All beds are fitted with duvets and pillows, duvet covers and pillow cases are provided.

Bathroom :

Shower 90 * 70 with thermostatic mixer, sink, toilet, washing machine and dryer.

Stay :

Convertible sofa, rectangular table and benches (capacity 8 people), 40 "HDTV, sound system with DVD / Blu Ray player and Apple TV connection, Wi-Fi access.

2 new VTC gracefully loaned:

- Gitane Play 200 Mixed (frame of 43)

- Peugeot X01-200 L (frame of 47)

Children: 1 cot, high chair.

A small picnic basket wicker is also made available for an unusual meal.

Price "weekend" for 1, 2 or 3 nights @ EUR 290.

Beyond 3 nights, the "season" rate is in effect.

Menage included in the price.

City taxes and EDF in addition to all rentals.

Online payment of rental.

Meter Reading has EDF distance.

A really magical place to stay

We chose this place because we wanted to be in the middle of the fun and bustle of the port. The view from the sitting room over the harbour and out to sea is truly spectacular. Watching the boats come in and out was pure pleasure. It's so light and airy, and the windows are so big, that we didn't miss having an outdoor space.

All the rooms felt much larger than they looked on the listing. Everything was in good order, clean and tasteful. The kitchen was well enough equipped for simple cooking. Good shower. Master bed wonderfully big and comfortable.

You're seconds away from everything you could need in the town. We took our drinks down and sat on the harbour wall every evening ...

We hired electric bikes and explored the island every day, parking them overnight back at the hire shop for safety.

Obviously, being so central, this isn't the right place if you're looking for 100pct tranquillity - you are right in the middle of things. This worked for us, but might not for everybody.

Communication was excellent with the owner, and the lady based on the island who manages the property was exceptionally warm and helpful.

L'appartement (au 1er étage) est idéalement situé au centre du bourg du Palais, face au port et à la citadelle Vauban.

Tous les commerces sont à quelques minutes (3 ou 4 maxi) à pieds.

Il est très lumineux, propre et confortable. Literie impeccable.

Les équipement électroménagers sont de très bonne qualité et pratiquement neufs de même que les installations sanitaires salle de bain, douche, cuisine ...

Seul bémol, il ne faut pas se laisser défavorablement impressionner à l'arrivée par une entrée et une cage d'escalier de l'immeuble particulièrement délabrée. On nous a toutefois dit qu'elle devait être prochainement rénovée.

Si nous retournons à Belle île nous n'hésiterons à louer à nouveau cet appartement

Nous avons passé deux excellentes semaines à Belle Ile dans le joli appartement de Matthieu, qui est très lumineux, soigné, équipé avec goût de sorte qu'on se sent toute suite bien....

L'emplacement face à l'écluse en plein centre et la proximité des plages et des sentiers permet d'éviter la voiture. Nous revenons avec plaisir!
