CASA PEREIRA is a spacious 4 bedroomed apartment situated in a peaceful residential area close to the town of Vila Nova de Cacela. The accommodation inside is traditionally Portuguese, with modern updates in the lounge and kitchen and offers a very comfortable stay at a reasonable price for 1 or more families. The apartment for rent is on the ground floor of the property with 3 double bedrooms, and to the rear of the apartment is a separate 1 bedroom annexe with 2 single beds. (Please note that the upper level of the house is not available for rent). The lounge/diner is spacious and opens up to the outside dining area with BBQ and pool, 3.5 x 7m in size. Just a few minutes walk away the local town has a wide range of amenities including restaurants, shops, bank and pharmacy. There is also a daily open air market and a travelling market once a month. The beach of Manta Rota with its lovely wide golden sands is around 2kms and can be reached on foot. The use of a car is not essential when renting this villa. Ideal holiday accommodation for those who wish to stay in a traditional Portuguese home and village.

The villa is located in a residential area just on the outskirts on the town of Vila Nova de Cacela. Here you will find a good choice of restaurants, shops and bars, also including a supermarkets, bus stops, train station and a bank. It should be noted that there is little evidence of tourism - this is a quiet location with friendly locals and reasonable prices.

TAVIRA

The beautiful town of Tavira: When staying in this accommodation a visit to the beautiful town of Tavira is essential! You will not fail to be enthralled by its unspoiled charm, character and tranquillity. As you wander along the cobbled streets, you'll see an abundance of history dating as far back as 2000BC. A Roman bridge links the 2 parts of the town across the River Gilao, its sides decorated with traditional old bars and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful drink or meal. Horse drawn carriages and a small train operate around the town and are perfect for sightseeing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The many churches (37 in total), the town castle and the typical fisherman's harbor leading to the River Formosa Natural Park are all places to visit, along with the wonderful daily market selling fresh home grown produce. Tavira Island and its wonderful beach is accessible by ferry boat from the town and offers excellent facilities with a wonderful holiday atmosphere.

BEACHES & OTHER THINGS TO DO: Manta Rota beach is approx 2 km away, and here you will find golden sands, rolling sea, sun beds for hire and a selection of beautiful beach side restaurants. In high season live events and festivals are held just by the beach. In addition, the Manta Rota Beach Club hosts an unusual venue in the shape of golf ball which has dancing and music inside with world famous DJs and live acts! - Great fun for the younger generation who seek a little night life! By car, there are a good range of things to do to suit all tastes. In the West there are some excellent shopping centres in Faro and Ghia as well as the famous Water Parks and Zoo Marine, around 45 minutes away. You can also take a day trip to Spain. The lovely border town of Ayamonte can be reached in 15 min, and once there you can sample the delights of another country, including wine, tapas and excellent shopping. For the more adventurous the vibrant city of Seville is approx 170km away.

GOLF INFORMATION: This is perfect accommodation for golfers wishing to sample the excellent courses situated in the Eastern Algarve. Within a 20km radius there are 7 courses to choose from. Benamor and the 2 Quintas (Ria and Cima) are the most popular and can be reached within several minutes. The prestigious new course of Monte Rei designed by Jack Nicklaus now has its first 18 holes open and is continuing in its development to the second phase offering the height of golfing luxury - although a costly experience, this is a real treat for golfing fanatics wishing to experience a little high life! Travelling only 10km further on towards Spain, the challenging course of Castro Marim, along with its famous country club comes highly recommended and just on the border are the Costa Esuri and Quinta do Vale courses now growing in popularity. We can organize a full golfing package with 1 price per head with play at a selection of these courses, car hire and rental of this property (flights not included).
