Centrally located in the old town of Palma, this attractive apartment has recently been reformed situated on the first floor, with lift. There are two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with two singles, each bedroom has wardrobes and hot and cold air conditioning units. Tastefully decorated, the living-dining area is bright and sunny with views to the square and neighbourhood. The modern kitchen is new and fully equipped, opening onto the dining-living. There are one bathroom/shower room. The apartment is spacious and with a lot of light, a total of 60 sq metres, tastefully furnished and with attention to detail.

Lovely apartment in a very central position just off one of the main streets but located in a quiet square. All "mod cons" and very comfortable. Beautifully clean and tastefully furnished. Easy to walk to all places of interest, restaurants, bars etc. as well as having a supermarket just down the road. Only 10 minutes to the train and bus stations.
Firstly, I should say that we didn't actually stay in this particular apartment - Elva emailed two days before our stay to say it wasn't available and offered us alternative accommodation in a property nearby. As a studio rather than a 2 bed, it wouldn't really have worked for us as a family, which I explained, and Elva found us another 2 bed in the original building. It was lovely - clean, spacious, tastefully furnished and extremely well equipped: full kitchen amenities and utensils, dining table, washing machine, iron, lots of hanging space, fab shower, shutters, wi-fi, TV etc (although we didn't use because we were out and about). It also had air con - an essential given the temperatures.
The communal areas of the building were also immaculate with a handy lift (we were on the third floor) and the bonus of an underground parking space in a car park over the road. There was a small playground outside, which the children loved.
The location is ideal - parallel to a busy shopping street and easy walks to all Palma's main sights. The area was pretty quiet, given it was so central, but it's definitely up and coming - lots of hipster bars and a couple of blocks down there was a street popular with 'ladies of the night' - although not at all edgy, we felt safe the whole time.
I'd definitely recommend the apartment and wouldn't hesitate to book on a return visit to Palma.
Quiet apartment with comfortable beds, nice living room. Great location: It is a 15- minute walk to the beach. The stop for the Hop on Hop off touristic bus is 10 minutes away.
I had brought a few DVDs for my daughter but there is no DVD player. All channels in German which we don't understand. But this is a fairly minor issue. There is a small playground for young children right in front of the building. We would definitely come back!
We were met by owner who informed us that the original property booked was unavailable however Elva had a similar property ready to offer us in the same area. This apartment was of a high standard, nicely furnished and decorated. Although there was ample crockery, saucepans, cooking utensils etc and many other nice extras (all brand new), ovenware and microwave dishes were not provided. I suspect that this was an oversight when getting the apartment ready at very short notice. The apartment is situated in a pleasant area that is undergoing modernisation and walking distance from lots of amenities. Should we return to Palma we would be very happy to use again. Thanks Elva for providing a lovely apartment.
The flat is beautifully situated in the centre of town, but also just off the main street in a quiet little square. It is within easy walking distance of virtually anywhere you would want to go in Palma Old Town, but also only a short walk to the train station. Everything is within easy reach.
The flat itself is beautifully appointed, extremely comfortable and cosy and warm in the cold evenings we experienced while there.
We certainly plan to return again next year, for longer this time, as even without a car it is so easy to "hop" a train or bus to other places on the island. A real find.
Sehr schöne, perfekt eingerichtete Wohnung: zentral und doch ruhig, mit einem Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage - ideal für Erkundungen der Insel. Nur wenige Schritte sind Supermärkte, eine große Markthalle und Einkaufsläden entfernt sowie eine Schwimmhalle und ein Fitness-Center. Die Vermieterin reagierte schon beim Buchen schnell, war auch in Palma unkompliziert, freundlich und hilfsbereit: Nur ein Minus: Wer gerne kocht, findet wenig Geschirr vor. Ansonsten jederzeit wieder. Danke Elva!
The central bus and train stations are also very close, with a fast bus connecting the airport with Plaza Espana. Palma is fully equipped for cyclists.
Palma's beaches are 10-15 minutes walk away, and discovering nearby beaches by local transport is easy.
Throughout the year Palma hosts many fiestas and celebrations, from art nights in the streets, to medieval fairs, firework displays and outside live music. The city hosts international sailing events, and connects the other Balearics Islands by ferry.
Not forgetting the famous Tuesday nights busy 'Routa Martiana' which happens in the area of the apartment where all the tapas bars are open offering tapas and beer or wine from 1.50€ each.
The famous antique train to Soller also leaves from Palma, traveling through the beautiful countryside, to the village of Soller.
