After developing 15 exceptional apartments in the Alsace wine region and villages straight out of fairy tales like Riquewihr, we are pleased to present our first holiday apartment on the French Riviera, in the bay of Cannes, at La Napoule seaside.

This small apartment is a true romantic hideaway for 2, very well distributed and wonderfully located. The residence is hidden behind a curtain of umbrella pines and palm trees, on the waterfront of Mandelieu La Napoule, in one of the most beautiful places in the bay of Cannes.

Access to the residence is with an electronic badge through a double lock. An elevator takes you to the second floor where the apartment is located.

Upon entry, you reach an open, new and well equipped kitchen. It's very convenient to immediately put down the victuals you have just bought at local merchants to prepare a nice salad or a more elaborate meal.

In the kitchen you will find new quality appliances: a real oven + a microwave oven, an induction hob, dishwasher, fridge ... Together with many handy utensils: Nespresso coffee machine, Italian coffee maker (French press), toaster, electric kettle ...

The kitchen is part of an open living area that includes a comfortable sofa and a beautiful rectangular table specially made for us by a cabinetmaker.

A nice flat screen provides access to a variety of television programs, including international. The internet connection in the apartment will allow you to stay in touch with family and friends but also to prepare your daily program.

The large window bay lets the sun in and gives a view of the marina and the sea. There you have access to the double covered terrace.

The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed (160 x 200 cm). It is also a linen chest bed that easily lifts to access a spacious storage space (for your travel bag or suitcase for example).

The bedroom has another large window with direct access to the terrace.

Two closets with hanging space let you organize your belongings. This is very practical for an extended stay ...

The bathroom en suite opens to the bedroom. In reality, it is no longer a bathroom. We removed the existing bathtub to replace it with a spacious shower, much more convenient and also safer for people who have some difficulties to move.

A washing machine with an inetgrated dryer equipment makes good service for longer stays.

The toilets are independent and have a vanity. Access is directly from the living area without going through the room.

The apartment is fully air conditioned with a heat pump that also provides efficient heating in winter if necessary.

A spacious 11 sqm terrace (120 sft) is facing the sea, the marina, the beach and the castle. In this part of the French Riviera the climate is very mild and most of the year the terrace is a real extra living room. You will see that even in winter, from December to February, it is not uncommon to have lunch on the terrace.

The terrace is sheltered and equipped with electric blinds.

To get to the beach, you only have to get out of the residence and cross the land-plain and pines ... The marina and castle are right here! You can stroll on the docks, rent a boat for the day or take a regular boat to the Lérins Islands, Cannes, and everywhere along the coast.

Restaurants and shops are a 3 minute walk.

What about parking?

We have no private car parking space to offer with this apartment but many free places are available along the avenue in front of the residence. Except in peak Summer time you will almost always find some free space available just in front of the residence. There is also a free parking near the station in the village center (a 250 meters walk). As well as a large free car park opposite the casino (500 meters, with always space available). And finally, on the harbor, right in front of the residence, there is the pay guarded parking of the marina (almost never full).

Our philosophy is that your stay in one of our apartments has to be a highlight of your stay!

We think that - especially for a rather long stay (most of our guests are discovering the slow travel concept and are staying 7 nights and more) - it is not enough to sleep well during the night but it is necessary to enjoy the stay in a place which is somehow of the same level as the historical surroundings, the sea and the mountain: beautiful. We put a lot of effort and care in the renovation and decoration of our vacation rental apartments because we want our holiday homes to be a memorable part of your travel experience to France.

A piece of Paradise!

This waterfront apartment is absolutely fabulous. The inside is tastefully decorated and includes all the amenities. The huge balconies have 2 electric awnings as well as outdoor furniture to enjoy meals or the view of the water and marina.

The building is very safe and the keys are available upon arrival. Inside, a notebook describes the operation of all the equipment including pictures to complement the description. In the rear of the building is a shared pool available to the residents of the complex, it is accessible only from the inside.

I enjoyed walking to the bakery every morning to purchase fresh croissants and assorted goodies. Just across the street is a sandy beach, the water was pleasant in June. The marina contains several restaurants, others are also within walking distance of the apartment.

We never had a problem finding parking directly in front, and enjoyed exploring the waterfront towns. Although I am bi-lingual, English is spoken just about everywhere and language is never a problem.

I highly recommend this property and its ideal location on the Riviera.

a Canadian traveller

We have just returned from a wonderful 10 days in La Napoule. Because we have stayed in Riquewihr in another of Jean-Paul and Martine's apartments, we were not surprised to find an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The apartment is completely equipped with everything needed and is so beautifully decorated. A clever use of space provides room for everything. The location is excellent- right on the waterfront with amazing views of boats, sea, beach, and castle. Shops are a few minutes away, including an excellent chicken rotisserie (with the most friendly owner, Philippe), very good wine store with a knowledgeable owner, boulangerie close by, and a small but very good Thursday street market for fresh food. All necessities of life within walking distance! A large Casino just a few minutes drive for additional needs. La Napoule is a quiet refuge to return to after a busy day in Cannes, Nice, Monaco....all within easy driving distance. The coast road to St Tropez is among the most spectacular drives we have ever done. Free parking in front of the apartment was always available. We spent many hours on the terrace, just enjoying the view. The train station is a short walk away if you don't have a rental car, and the bus stop is across the road, connecting to everywhere along the coast. We also enjoyed exploring the medieval hilltop villages inland. We highly recommend this lovely place !!

One of our best vacations at sea

It was really one of our best vacations at sea. We have been enjoying and are very grateful to Jean-Paul and Martien for the care and warm welcome. I agree with the reviews of other travelers and from my side can write again that the very comfortable apartment, sand beach in front of it, port, charming town, restaurants around, all of these are exellent. The only inconvenience was some trouble with internet. Since we traveled a lot by car (Provence is very interesting region) an additional advantage may be the possibility of renting parking space in the basement of the apartment.

Owner's Response: Thank you Lara for staying with us and posting your review. Good news: the internet which had to be rebooted from time to time due to a interference coming from the building TV antenna equipment is now perfectly stable (the company responsible for the global maintenance of the building changed the defective equipment). We are also looking for a private parking space for rent in the basement but unfortunately none is available at the moment. Except in August one will almost always find some free space available just in front of the residence. There is also a free parking near the station in the village center (a 250 meters walk). As well as a large free car park opposite the casino (500 meters, with always space available). And finally, on the harbor, right in front of the residence, there is the pay guarded parking of the marina (almost never full). But we keep an eye on any garage opportunity :-)

The apartment in La Napoule is lovely with a beautiful view. The covered balcony provided outside dining space both morning and evening. The apartment is small but has all the amenities and upgrades one could ask for. The location is perfect with access to the beach, restaurants and boats just across the street. A wonderful bakery is just around the corner and a neighborhood grocery store within two blocks. For golfers there are three courses in less than 2 miles. The town is small enough that one is not overwhelmed with congested streets as in the larger cities along the coast. The property is very secure and free public parking is always available within two blocks.

Gemütliche Wohnung an der Côte Azur

In dieser wundervollen Ferienwohnung konnten wir herrliche Tage an der Côte verbringen. Sie ist mit allem Komfort ausgestattet und hat einen großzügigen Balkon. Fußläufig ist ein kleiner Supermarkt, ca. 30 Restaurants und natürlich ein sauberer, gepflegter Strand zu erreichen. La Napoule ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um Nizza, Saint Tropez, Monaco etc. zu besuchen. Wir können das Feriendomizil auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen und werden nächstes Jahr wieder kommen.

Kleine, liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit guter Verkehrsanbindung. Ideal für 2 Personen. Restaurants und Geschäfte in unmittelbarer Nähe. Gegenüber vom Yachthafen und einem kleinen Strand. Guter Stützpunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Sehr zuvorkommende Vermieter, sehr gut organisierte Abwicklung. Empfehlenswert.
