About the property

Sleeps 6 (3 bedrooms)

The twin islands of Skellig Michael and Little Skellig float on the Atlantic twelve kilometres off the coast of southwest Ireland. They are remote, craggy and windswept – but they play a highly significant role in Irish history and culture.

"An incredible, impossible, mad place. I tell you the thing does not belong to any world that you and I have lived and worked in: it is part of our dream world."

George Bernard Shaw

Scenes from The Force Awaken were shot at Skellig Michael

The house has a sandy Beach 5 Mins Walk and 2 Pubs Within 15 Mins Walk. The house sleeps 6.

The house is a Detached 3 bedroom property, and was completed in 2009 and has views over Smerwick Harbour and the 'Three Sisters”. The house is only 8km from Dingle. The house is on the stunningly beautiful Slea Head Route.

You will be spoilt for choice as many of the rooms have beautiful views over the sea and mountains. The house has oil central heating, flat screen TV’S, DVD player, radio and Ipod docking station. Dingle Town is only 8km away and is home to many shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and a sailing club and has its own Marina. You can spend your time either relaxing or making the most of the areas many attractions. You may wish to tour the Dingle Peninsula with its breathtaking coastline either by car or bike. Great location. Lovely property

  • 5 of 5

This house is set in a quiet location, within walking distance of a couple of great beaches. It's ideally situated for exploring some of the best parts of the Penisula, (which is stunning), whilst still being able to access the town of Dingle within a few minutes by car. The pictures in the listing don't do the house justice. It's very spacious with copious storage space, and is decorated and maintained to a very high standard. We were very lucky with the weather, with sunshine for most of our two weeks, but when the weather did keep us in we were very comfortable. The owner was very helpful, and gave us lots of useful information about the area over the phone before we arrived. If we return to this part of Ireland, I wouldn't hesitate to book the same property again.

Lovely House in a Great Location

  • 5 of 5

We had a terrific week West of Dingle. The house is immaculate and perfect for a Holiday in the wilds of West Kerry.

A Hidden Idyll

  • 5 of 5

Located in the small village of Murreagh. Step out of this very, very comfortable house and you are a stone's throw from a long, beautiful, sandy beach with shallow warm waters and wonderful views. Fifteen minute walk to 'TPs' - a pub with wondeful food, music and a warm welcome.

Dingle is also fifteen minutes away (by car) and has facilities and attractions to keep all happy.

I suppose I should really keep quiet and keep this idyll all to myself but, honestly, for a perfect Irish holiday you will find no better.

Very happy return visitor

  • 5 of 5

We've now stayed here twice and have already re-booked for our third visit. A perfect holiday home-from-home, with absolutely everything you could ever need for a lovely trip to Dingle, rain or shine. Very, very comfortable house in a beautiful location.

Beautifully located and comfortable holiday home

  • 5 of 5

I am a regular visitor to this beautiful part of Ireland, but this is easily the best and most comfortable place we have ever stayed. Set in a stunning location, with breathtaking sea and mountain views, the house is spotlessly clean and furnished with everything that you could need (dishwasher, wi-fi, Sky TV, multiple bathrooms, comfortable beds, a full range of kitchen equipment) for a holiday home from home and the four of us had a wonderful holiday. Highly recommended.
