What makes this House unique
The Verrezzano House is conveniently located at the center of The Universe. It's a really comfortable house that positions you to go anywhere and do anything. You name it: Long Island Distilleries (2 hrs), Coney Island (15 mins), Jersey Shore (45 mins), Philadelphia (2.5 hours), Washington DC (3.5 hours); Monmouth Track (45 mins). If you run out of stuff to do, just call me. I have tons of suggestions...

Great location for NYC Marathon
The owner, Daniel, was excellent to work with over the phone! The home was beautiful and clean and we were very comfortable staying there. The location was excellent - right off the highway, yet quiet, and a very short walk to the corrals for the NYC Marathon. It was also not far from the beautiful beach and boardwalk area in one direction and restaurants in the other direction. It was so nice knowing we always had a parking spot waiting for us at the house too. No hunting for a parking spot like in other areas of NYC. And if you want to use the bus, there is a bus stop right by the home. Very convenient. We found staying on Staten Island to be a nice relaxing oasis from the hustle & bustle of Manhattan, yet Manhattan was just a short boat ride or drive away. We really enjoyed the Staten Island Ferry ride too (it’s free!) and seeing the Statue of Liberty close up. I would definitely stay here again!
A great home!
Dan's home is such a lovely respite for my family. It is right next to the bridge, which is super convenient and comfortable and clean. The kitchen is stocked really nicely for cooking for a family, and Dan left such nice and thoughtful things to enjoy such as coffee, bottled water and plenty of toiletries and cleaning products. Not every home has everything you need.
Thank you for those kind words. You are welcome back anytime.
Perfect House, Perfect Host, Perfect Stay!
6 of us stayed at this house and we all agreed that we literally could not have asked for more. The communication from Dan our host was exceptional both before and during our stay. He went above and beyond anything we could have reasonably expected, from arranging subway passes to stocking the house with essentials, recommending places to eat and even offering a lift to pick up some groceries! The pictures of Dan's home really don't do it justice. It was both immaculate and homely and was set in a location where we really felt comfortable and safe. Thank you Dan for making our trip to New York as memorable as it was!
Steve, it was great meeting you and your family! Come back anytime!

Valentino, thank you for those kind words. Your family is welcome back anytime!
Staten Island oasis for a NYC vist
Loved our stay at this lovely house as we squired our young nephew & his girlfriend on their first trip to the Big Apple to celebrate their 21st birthdays. House was clean, quiet, spacious, & perfect in every way for the 4 of us. The two large upstairs bedrooms (bathrooms in each) provided privacy and space. Downstairs half-bath very convenient. Large dining and living area. Plenty of windows made the place light and airy. To supplement the central air system, one bedroom had two ceiling fans, the other a small window AC unit, keeping the entire house quite comfortable on warm days. Very quiet neighborhood with the s52 and s79 bus stops only steps away. Dan was incredibly responsive, replying to our inquiries within minutes & offering multiple & much-appreciated suggestions for eating out, activities, etc. He even offered to purchase our MetroCards for us and had them ready & waiting at the house when we arrived - much appreciated after a long morning of travel. Well-stocked bathrooms and kitchen (including a great variety of Keurig cups & bottled water). Do check out the delicious Italian Buono bakery, just a short walk away down Hylan Blvd. Very comfortable beds. Huge TV in the living room, large assortment of viewing options. The s52 bus ride to the St. George Ferry Terminal (drops you off at Ramp D) was quick, super-easy & convenient. We never tired of the beautiful views of the Statue of Liberty and NY harbor from the Staten Island Ferry as we make our way to Manhattan. After a busy day seeing all the sights it was great to come "home" to a quiet, comfortable refuge.
Thank you for this wonderful review. you are amazing guests. When I sent my cleaning crew in, they commented that the house was even cleaner after you left. And your consideration in fixing stove pilots was completely over-the-top.
I truly try to make the vacationing experience as positive as possible for my guests and when it is appreciated, I feel even more gratified. You are always welcome back and I hope we "meet" again. Thank you once again.
Everything you need is here. The Staten Island ferry is lessen than 20 minutes away. Daniel has thought of everything - toothbrushes etc.
