The Timbers is one of only two true ski-in/ski-out buildings in the Keystone Ski Area. Located in the evergreens by the river just above the gondola. Easy walk to all the new shops and restaurants in the River Run Village base area. Luxury and convenience combined in one property.

NEW living room furniture and 60" flat screen just installed for the 2017-18 season!

This luxury building offers a spacious lobby area with stone fireplace in the lounge, game tables, grand piano, wet bar, and big screen TV. Clubhouse with heated indoor/outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, exercise facility, and steam room.

Unit #3059 has 2BR/3 Baths and is on the first level (ski back right to the private porch). It also has a stone fireplace, washer dryer, 3 new flat screen TV's, 12' ceilings, stainless steel appliances, and jetted Jacuzzi tub. Premium rates apply for this property, but our rates are far lower than Keystone Property Management charges for the same size unit in this building.

Our condo was beautiful inside and also had amazing amenities which enhanced our family time !

We lived Keystone and especially the condo we stayed in on the edge of the mountain. The town is a sweet, exciting, little village. Because of the location of our condo we were easily able to take advantage of everything we wanted in Keystone. The condo had a lot of room and was very clean. I was very pleased with his simple our directions were for the last day of our stay. Our family enjoyed to pool, hot tub, grill, fire pit, and fishing on the property.

We had some great family time at the property.

I have already been thinking about a winter stay at this condo because if these amenities and the prime location, ski in and ski out .

Loved it

This unit was perfect for my 2 children and me. Wonderful location to walk outside and ski down to the gondola or chair lift. It is located just above River Run Village which has the majority retail and restaurants compared to the other villages. The unit itself was nice with lots of space. Master bed was very comfortable, and my daughter slept in the master BR on the day bed and loved it. No problem with master shower, except make sure to position the shower head away from the door because otherwise water will shoot out into the bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped, and the family room (including fireplace) was very comfortable.

We loved the amenities in the building. There is a lobby area with a piano, games, bar area with tv if you want to watch (watched a little march madness basketball with some Michigan fans which was fun). Coffee and hot chocolate is available as well. We used the ski locker to store our ski gear, steam room, sauna, and exercise equipment. Hot tub and pool was great. Private underground garage as well.

Management was courteous, responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall a fantastic experience and quality accommodation.

Perfect Stay

The condo was great for our family of three. The condo was very spacious the kitchen had every utensil you should need. We clicked into our skis right at the condo and made our way over to the lifts. It was great to be able to come back to the condo to eat lunch and relax before back out to the slopes. The hot tub and pool were great after a long day of skiing.

I would absolutely stay here again.

Keystone Ski Vacation

We had a great time at the Timbers lodge.

The only negative was the shower in the master bathroom. It would flood the whole bathroom floor in 4 minutes due to a poor tile design and a stopped up drain. We were unable to use that shower forcing the adults to shower in the kids bathroom for five days.

Obviously the unit above us has had similar issues as the ceiling above our shower had water damage also.

Owner's Response: Yes, the problem with this shower was addressed after reading this review. Previously, if the shower head was turned toward the shower door, water would leak out. The seal around the shower door was completely replaced and the drain issue was also remedied. Significant drywall work and repainting was done in April, 2018 to correct previous water stains from the unit above. No further leaks since this work was done.

Dated, but perfect location.

This condo is definitely dated, but the location makes up for it. This is our second year in a row to stay in this unit, and we have already booked it for a third year.

The decor is definitely dated, and it could use some minor maintenance (lock on one of the back doors is EXTREMELY difficult to operate, the kitchen tiles don't ever seem to be clean because they are pretty beat up, water damage around master shower, very worn carpet). All that being said, this condo is VERY large, VERY comfortable, and in one of the best locations possible. It's one of the few units in Keystone where you can park your car right outside your backdoor - makes loading and unloading a piece of cake. While you might get better views from a unit on a higher floor, we've fallen in love with the convenience of being on the first floor.

Despite the dated feel, two things would make this a five star review: 1.Updated tvs (especially in the living area). While there are three flat screen tvs in this unit, they are all small enough to fit inside the original tube-style tv cabinets. A large flat panel tv mounted over the fireplace would be a huge improvement. (The internet signal here is outstanding, and we like to bring an Apple TV with us and curl up on the very comfortable couch at the end of the day and watch movies.) 2. Key Card access through the backdoor. As I mentioned, the backdoor access here is one of the best features of this unit. But if everyone in your party is out skiing, someone has to go through the front door to let everyone else in.

Also, Seymour Lodging is an absolute pleasure to work with. If you don't book this unit, book something else with them.

Owner's Response: This review was quite influential in convincing the owner to make significant changes. Basically, it said the unit is in one of the best possible locations on the slopes in a gorgeous building . . . but some updates were needed. So the owner reacted positively by agreeing to make the following additions: 1) large new flat screen TV over the fireplace; 2) new living room furniture; and 3) new granite counters in both the kitchen and baths. The end result is that guests staying in the unit have been very pleased with the upgrades . . . including the owner herself.
