This cosy and romantic apartment has a private garden on the river front, perfect to enjoy breakfast at sunrise or a glass of wine as you take in the amazing alpine glow sunset.

A unique one bedroom apartment located on the Aare river. Boasting a private garden with BBQ and outside seating for 4. WI-FI. Double bedroom with amazing views. Large fully kitted kitchen, bathroom, lounge with TV / DVD, and sofa bed.

Excellent

Extremely pleased with our choice of stay.Fantastic position overlooking the river, rooms were very very clean and all provided eqpt was modern and in good condition.Easy to walk or cycle into Interlakenhoheweg.

All booking and correspondence with Juliet was very easy and fast.

Overall we were both very happy with our holiday.

Would definitely book again if we go back to Interlakenhoheweg.

What a delight ... Interlaken's hidden gem

The location of this property was perfect for us ... A short walk by the river takes you right into Inerlaken ... The suite was clean and picturesque and Juliette was awesome in communicating everything we needed to know to find the property and enjoy our stay.

Great apartment in nice spot

We loved our recent stay at this apartment. We never actually met Juliet, but she was very responsive over email and text, and she gave very detailed directions/instructions so we had absolutely no problems. The apartment is very nice. We had two adults and two children and it was perfect for us. The location is great. Very quiet, but close to a lot. We did not have a car with us and still found it easy to get around by public transportation, we just needed to make sure we gave ourselves enough time to walk to the train station. We also made sure to coordinate our grocery shopping with our travel schedule, as there is a large Coop directly across from the station. We also preferred to get to the station by way of the nearby train bridge. Beautiful views! We took a walk in that direction along the lake to nearby Bönigen and it was amazing. We would highly recommend this place to family and friends, and would absolutely stay here again!

A Perfect Location!

If you are looking to stay in a beautiful serene location away from the general tourist fray this little apartment is perfect! We loved the short walk along the river from the parking lot to the yellow apartment house. In October we were able to open the windows at night and hear the soft musical sounds of the cow bells from across the river. The apartment has everything you need and the added benefit that you feel like you are experiencing life in Switzerland! We could not have been happier!

Lovely Views

We had a great stay. The apartment is large and the furniture is very comfortable. The view from the apartment is wonderful. It is a 20 minute walk to town but we enjoyed the exercise. Great hiking/walking trails starting just outside the apartment. It was perfect for 2 people, but might be a challenge for 4 adults. The bathroom is very small but functional. Everything was very well taken care of for us and we appreciated the bottle of wine!

Location

Car: not necessary

Interlaken is a massive outdoor adventure base, similar to that of Queenstown in New Zealand.

Paragliding, Skydiving, Canyoning, Rafting, Ice Climbing, Hiking, Rock Climbing, Fly Fishing, Mountain Biking, Hang gliding, Bungy Jumping, Canyon Jumping are activities available during the summer.

Paragliding, Skydiving, Hiking, Hang gliding, Canyon Jumping, sledding, snowshoeing, skiing and snowboarding are activities available during the winter.

For the less adventurous and families there heaps of famous train journeys, boat rides on either Lake Thun or Lake Brienz and lots of day that include amazing playing parks. There are children friendly hiking routes, with bbq spots on the way.

The 1st of August is National Swiss Day. The day has continuous events, parades and is capped of with one off with a brilliant fireworks at 10pm followed by live bands.

Basically Interlaken has so much to do, I am still working my through the list. The safety, simple style of life and beauty of the place is why I feel lucky to live here. I truly cannot recommend it enough.
