Our New Orleans Trip

We were very pleased with everything. The location was perfect and convenient. We were there for a wedding. The property manager was very accommodating. The neighborhood was relatively quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Over night stay

Property was clean and comfortable. Was unable to figure out how to operate TV. WiFi was good. Sitting area / couch needs a coffee table to hold drinks etc.

Renter Beware

We booked this rental for the last weekend in August with every intent to make the trip. However, Hurricane Ida preventing us from making the trip as safety was a main concern. If you recall, Louisiana was declared to be in a State of Emergency. I contacted the host to see if we could cancel. But they said it was not an option. Keep in mind there was no way we could make that trip in a hurricane. The host only offered to allow me to choose a future date, which i did only to me met with an invoice for an ADDITIONAL $300 which the host said he could not do anything about. long story short. We were not able to cancel, not able to book a future stay and the host walked away with $430 of our money with no resolution. Customer service was no help as they said the decision to refund lies with the host. Do not book unless you can predict the weather and other foreseen circumstances.
