We bought this property in 2006 as a getaway. We completely designed & rebuilt this house to the highest standard. We put our living quarters on the second floor to avail of the spectacular sea views. It is our home away from home where you can completely switch off or enjoy all the delights that the area holds. You can walk out from our back garden onto one of Kerry's most famous beaches. No need for shoes or loading up your car.

We bought this property in 2006 as a getaway where we can switched off & enjoy the beach, the mountains & the great golf courses in the area.
It is a place where you can relax & enjoy the peace, tranquility & the amenities that is has to offer.
Perfect accommodation and perfect location. There is nothing that could be done to improve this house and situation. A little bit of "heaven on earth".
The house is very pleasant for holidays : very well equipped, fabulous view, beach nearby, quiet (except when dogs bark in some mobile home...), your lady for cleaning,
In summary it can be said that our holidays were great ... even the weather was quiet clement (except 2 days).
We spent a lot of time to play golf, horse riding, walk and boat trip
... not forgetting pub to share with irish people
1The Cable Station is situated on the beautiful ring of Kerry in south west Ireland. This interior designed contemporary property is set over three floors and provides excellent family holiday accommodation. Guests have easy access at the bottom of the garden to ballinskelligs blue flag beach. The house and gardens have breathtaking sea views across to Horse Island and the mountains of MacGillycuddy's Reeks and beyond.
For hundreds of years The Ring of Kerry (Iveragh Peninsula) has attracted many visitors to this unspoilt part of the mystical region of Ireland.
Its undoubtedly spectacular beauty is beyond question and it is a natural centre for outdoor pursuits including cycling, water sports, walking, riding and the very best fishing. For the golfer we have a number of top golf courses nearby. The Waterville Links Golf Club and Skellig Bay are a 9 km drive away. For the more active there are numerous walks where one can enjoy wonderful scenery and visit the abundance of historical and archeologically sites like the old Abbey with its links to the skellig Rocks, McCarthy Castle and Cill Rialaig, the old famine village at nearby Bolus Head.
Within the village of Ballinskelligs there is a small convenience store, post office and petrol station. There is a welcoming atmosphere in the local pubs and cafes where you will find the friendly locals ready to chat in Irish or English. A further selection of shops can be found in Cahersiveen. There are numerous good restaurants in the locality serving the best of local cuisine.
The nearest airports are Kerry and Cork with a fast ferry service from Swansea, Pembroke, Fishguard and Holyhead.
