Stay in one of our lovely apartments rental in Paris: it is in lieu of an old Parisian haberdashery transformed into a modern and cozy loft that offers space and a rare comfort.

This apartment is on the ground floor of a Haussmann style building, near the Invalides, the Ecole Militaire and Saint Germain des Pres. The building has a paved courtyard, dotted with shrubs and flowers, to find the pleasure of a little corner of nature.

This duplex loft has a spacious living exceptionally bright, a dining room, a modern fitted kitchen, two double bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and separate toilet.

Quiet neigborhood, centrally loacated, 2 bedroom aparment.

My daughters and I stayed here, located in a quiet neighborhood. This typical French apartment has a room on the main floor with queen bed, a fold out double sofa bed on the main floor, and a bed that can separate into 2 singles on the second floor. The stairs are VERY loud/creaky, but completely secured. We thought it was fun to try to manage the stairs as quietly as possible. The amenities were great - nice shower, separate toilet, washing machine/dryer, and fully supplied kitchen.

We were there the first week of August, so it was nice to open the windows at night. The upstairs has a 3/4 floor-ceiling length widow that fully opens (no screens, so not safe for little ones). On the main floor, there are 3 roof type windows that require a crank (provided in the apartment) to open, and 1 high level awning window that uses a lever to open. There were 3 fans in the apartment as well.

There is a café on the corner of the street which was open week days. The apartment is one block from a park, 5 minutes to the Duroc metro station (on the M10 and M13 lines) and 7 minutes to the Sevres Lecourbe metro station (M6 line). There is a small convenience store across the park and a few additional cafes and restaurants near the apartment, but you definitely need to explore several blocks away to find additional shops and places to eat.

I gave it 4 starts only because I tried to contact the owner with a question and I did not receive a response. It was not that important, or else I would have tried harder to contact the owner.

Overall a nice apartment, quiet and convenient

Pros:

- Convenient location, 15 minute walk from Eiffel Tower and 5 minutes from Subway station

- Quiet road

- Generally nicely decorated and well provisioned

- Does have a good shower even description says not

- Decent kitchen

- Generally comfortable

Cons:

- The staircase! Very narrow, steep and tall. If you have bad knees, are afraid of heights, or are even broad shouldered you'll struggle to get to the top room. Also creeks loudly as you climb it.

- No windows open. There are windows in the roof, but they are covered in moss and look like they haven't been opened for years.We found it got quite humid with 5 of us in for the evening.

- The power tripped on 3 occasions while we were there. Had to push the master switch back on (easily found fortunately).
