3 bed waterview, steps from dock, 1 mile from Mt. Sunapee
We are a family of 4 and just bought this home to enjoy some family time at the lake and the mountain. Our kids love water and snow skiing and this place has both!
Greg purchased this House in 2018
What makes this House unique
One of the very few houses on Sunapee with a "active-family-oriented" mix of amenities - immediately next to Mt. Sunapee, on the water, pet friendly, and a boat available for rent!

Peaceful, beautiful and adventurous!
We had a FABULOUS time staying at this extremely roomy, beautiful home on the lake. It is placed right around the corner from the Sunapee State Park allowing for summer swimming, boating, hiking, zip lining or winter skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, and snowmen. We rented the boat they listed for rent and went to a restaurant on the lake for dinner one night. The views are STUNNING! At night, walk down to the dock, (3 houses down from this house: easy walk with nice people if you bump into any. We met a neighbor) ...anyway, go to the dock and look at the stars - the Milky Way lights up the sky and it is memorizing! The house itself was much larger than what we expected. The master is surrounded by windows so you can enjoy the awesome NH sunrise. We used this house as our hub as we spent a week looking for our permanent NH home. It was perfect! New London is 15 minutes away (great little town that you could spend a day milling around in). Lakes, hiking trails, little shops...it’s all within minutes of this home. Or, just sit in the quiet and enjoy the peace and serenity it offers.
Everything worked great, we brought our dog, Maui, who made it her own while we were there. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of houses to rent. And, for the area, excellent price!
A couple of things to keep in mind but not negatives. It is a short walk to the dock...about 3 houses down and the houses are very close to each other. We only saw one person. LOL Also, AT&T cell service does not work in the Sunapee area. If you have it, make sure you can make data calls or just enjoy being unplugged.
The host was fabulous! We had trouble getting into the house. It’s a smart lock and, with no service, that became a problem. He was on it immediately and we were in within minutes! We also asked to stay an additional day and they were accommodating and easy to work with so we could. Kitchen has everything you need if you wanted to stay in and cook. We grilled outside two nights out of the 6.
If you are looking for a central point, a wonderful space to call home while you’re away, we say this is the place. I know I sound over the top. But, when reading up on where to stay I read everyone’s comments so I can make a wise decision when it comes to renting from others. This was an awesome experience and we feel it should be known so others can make an educated choice. Have fun in NH!!! We LOVE it!
Great get away on lake Sunapee, great house just a short walk to the lake. Great place to relax and take in the sun set on the dock or grilling on the deck.
Well equipped home that is super clean, just a great getaway.
Glad you enjoyed your stay! Hope to have you as a guest in the future.
The house is very comfortable and accommodating. Easy access to many beautiful natural sites. Greg was very prompt with his communication and the house had everything we needed.
Glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for being a great guest.
Great location and great neighbors. The owner, Greg was very helpful. We enjoyed our week at the lake.
Our family had a great time. Beautiful Lake Sunapee was just a short walk down the hill. Greg and his wife were great hosts and we would definitely rent their house again!
Thank you, Kevin! It would be a pleasure to have you again.
The house was nice the deck is spacious
Would have liked to have been closer to the water but the state beach is a short ride and is nice. The owner was great to work with.we had a good time.
Dave - thank you for the compliment...if we could move the house closer to the water, we would! :-)
Glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you visit again.
Within 1 mile, there are several great attractions (in addition to the lake for which you have deeded dock access).
1) Mt Sunapee State Beach
2) Mt Sunapee Adventure Park (summer / spring / fall)
3) Mt Sunapee Resort (winter skiing)
