Pay garage at the foot of the building.
Travel: facility for bicycles: a potential rent Velam.
Local shops (excellent boulangerie).
Main attractions (cathedral belfry, circus, Jules Verne house, floating gardens ... are within walking distance from the apartment.
The pedestrian area visiting secure travel, you can shop with all brand stores. Cinema and train station are at the end of the pedestrian street.
At night, the trendy is located in St Leu and along the Somme.
We live in a very quiet building, we expect you to respect the tranquility of the residents.
Thank you Jacques and Helene for welcoming us to Amiens. The apartment was great, very well equipped and the location could not be more central to everything.
The property was clean, well-maintained, well furnished and spacious. The photo on the website was a bit misleading as it gives the impression that the apartment is part of what is actually the Civic Hall whereas it is across the road above shops and other apartments. Mr and Mrs Boche were really helpful and with the aid of google translate, were able to explain housekeeping etc. I'd recommend the apartment to any one.
Amiens is relaxed and well connected by train. The bars and restaurants are very similar and likewise the food. Don't expect French cuisine but if you like a good burger, you're in the right town.

We would return in the blink of an eye if we could.
From the moment we booked, Jacques and Helen were attentive to our needs, from recommending & booking a restaurant for New Year's Eve (that turned out to be just fantastic!), to meeting us at the apartment, explaining everything & leaving us apple juice, chocolates & champagne! They were delightful hosts, despite the language barrier but I think our 'school' French was understood! The apartment was lovely with spacious, airy & bright rooms & an amazing balcony giving 180 degree views of the charming city. It is right in the heart of all the shops, restaurants & attractions so extremely convenient, but make sure you're feeling fit to mount the four flights of circular stairs to the apartment but the apartment & the views are well worth it!
I would strongly recommend this apartment and the hosts to anyone. They went out of their way to help us, booking a lovely restaurant for us for New Years Eve - Bistro Du Boucher, that far exceeded our expectations.
Description of the apartment was very accurate. Car parking was easy & exactly as they advised us.
Location could not be better and the balconies (on two sides) are a real bonus.
Carrefour 50m away is also a real bonus.
They have lots of leaflets of things to do (we did the walk around St Leu, which was great). They also provide a guide to the apartment & services in English, which was great.
They have many films, that you can watch in English or French & with or without subtitles.
Kitchen equipment great & so are the restaurants - you can't go wrong.
The only thing I would say is to remember you are on the fourth floor with no lift ... but it's good exercise after all the meals out!
We would highly recommend Helene and Jacques apartment in Amiens, France as a holiday destination. It is ideally situated in the centre of town close to shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Many historical venues of interest close by. The apartment is exceptionally well appointed with new appliances and a tasteful renovation.
The owners met us on arrival and provided information and maps in English detailing places of interest to visit.
We were very impressed when a magnificent aperitif and champagne was provided as a welcome gesture.
Close to train and bus this apartment is outstanding.
