Why Cindy & Robert Joskowiak chose Gordonsville
When we first saw this property - she just said to us - Please restore me & make me beautiful again! The home was in a terrible state and had been neglected for years. Purchased with the thought of having a VRBO & restoring it and bringing it up to modern times. The addition of another bathroom, which was also fitted for the handicap family member was a must. Total renovation & redesign of the kitchen to add a dishwasher, French doors to add light and handicap access into the house from the deck with a ramp.

Excellent Value and Great Location!
We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Rosa. The home is located perfectly for wine tasting and visiting top attractions like Monticello and Montpellier. We have stayed at VRBO locations for several years and this location rates with the best in value. Cindy and Robert were excellent communicators and made the visit special, they were so kind to welcome us with fresh eggs and a bottle of wine! We plan to stay here again and again. Thanks!
Thank you for your kind words. We are so glad you loved the home and hope you enjoyed your special celebration.
The owner was very nice and quick with responses. The house was nicely decorated and very clean. Good location for wineries. Would stay again
Terrific Small Town Gem!
The Villa Rosa is beautiful! We enjoyed a week in the house while we were celebrating a family wedding in Charlottesville. From the moment we arrived, the property felt welcoming and “homey”. The house was very clean and all the furniture and décor were light and lovely. We appreciated the way the house was updated while still maintaining its original character. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were outfitted with anything you might need including soft, plush towels. While we only used the kitchen for breakfasts, it was well stocked for cooking. The deck provides a peaceful place for enjoying the quiet neighborhood. We had fun watching a mama deer and her two fawns in the yard across the street one evening. Gordonsville is a great location of itself, but it is also close to Charlottesville, historical points of interest, and many wineries. We enthusiastically recommend the Villa Rosa, and hope to visit again when we are in the area.
Had a wonderful stay- such a well equipped cottage, and everything was beautifully put together. Gor
Perfect for our stay!
Great property near the winires
The two bedroom house is in town in a quiet location. It was well furnished, spacious and very comfortable. A great getaway space for two couples or a small family. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was delightfully decorated. Would definitely stay here again!!
This is a choice property! Everything you could possibly need was there for your use! I wanted for nothing and felt very at home. The property was VERY clean and so welcoming. The owners are kind, responsive, and understanding. I can’t wait for my next trip back to Gordonsville so I can stay at this property again!
Thank you it was a pleasure hosting you. Hope to see you again soon.
