My wife and I stayed in this lovely apartment and could not have been happier. The apartment had everything we could possibly need, a beautiful kitchen, two lovely terraces, comfortable furnishings, and a central location. On the days we wanted to visit the main attractions (Louvre, d'Orsay, l'Orangerie, Notre Dame) we walked out of the apartment, crossed the road and walked along the Seine. Other days when we wanted to live like the locals and visit the neighborhood boulangerie and fromagerie, we walked one block in the other direction and wandered from street to street. The host of the apartment was more than helpful. I highly recommend this apartment to everyone!
The apartment is perfect for 2 people, very comfortable and the location was great. Joanna was there to greet us and made sure we had all the information we needed. She even arranged our transportation back to the airport. I would definitely stay here again!
Our 2 week stay at "Between The View", in the 5th Arr, met all of our expectations and then some. Marc and his team were very communicative. The location was perfect, a quiet side street within walking distance of the Seine and Notre Dame and more. Cafe Panis, adjacent to Notre Dame and the Seine, became a favorite stop for breakfast! The apartment was delightful. Clean, contemporary with a well equipped kitchen and a spacious modern bathroom with a nice hot shower. And the bed was very comfortable, important to a couple in their 60's! With rooftop views, and a partial view of the Notre Dame towers, we saw many a gorgeous sunset from the window/balconies. The building has a lift to the 5th floor, so just a walk up one flight to the apartment. Regarding the elevator..it is quite small and narrow, but the glass doors help for those who may not feel comfortable in tight spaces!
We would not hesitate to suggest this apartment to friends. There are even two delightful restaurants right around the corner from the property. We were always happy to come home to this apartment after a long day touring the beautiful city of Paris!
This apartment was as advertised, very comfortable for a couple, and a fantastic location. I would mention that for Americans used to large washing machines and dryers, the capacity of the machine is limited and the drying function takes forever. We resorted to hanging damp clothing around the apartment on every available knob and closet door. Perhaps a rack would be a helpful amenity? That being said, I would rent this apartment again next time we go to Paris. There were two fabulous bakeries very close and dozens of restaurants in the neighborhood that were all wonderful.
This apartment is located on the 6th floor of a classic Paris apartment building in a quiet side street on the Left Bank. The geographic location is fantastic as it is only a short walk to Notre Dame, the Cluny, the Marais, the Pantheon, Luxembourg gardens etc. The apartment is clean and modern with a great bathroom, comfortable bed, and a well-equipped kitchen. The rooftop views are lovely. It is quiet at night and the blinds make it reasonably dark enough for sleeping. The building has a lift that takes you to the fifth floor and then you will have to wrestle your bags up to the top floor. The agent, Joanna was there to welcome us and everything on that side of the arrangement went smoothly.
My husband and I have rented in Paris several times so we know what to look for when searching and have realistic expectations. Our apartment on the 6th floor provided an elevator to the 5th, then a single flight of stairs up. Although located off St. Germain des Pres, a Very busy street, this was QUIET. The bed is an American queen size, plenty of pillows though I'd ask for more towels as the shower door seal at the floor does leak a bit. Be prepared to purchase your own laundry soap and bath soap. Fully equipped, everything you could possibly need. A high quality remodel, very comfortable, everything worked. Pedro met us on time, everytime and our inquiries pre-arrival were responded to nearly immediately. We will be back and highly recommend this property if you wish to stay Left Bank or Ile de Cite.
