This newer, contemporary, designer, green home is only steps from the surf and the village of Stinson Beach. Come to the beach and park your car for your stay. Slow down, walk to the beach, restaurants and the grocery store. In addition to the convenient location, this unusually large site is adjacent to a creek and restored native riparian habitat with occasional frogs and steelhead in the backyard.

The heart of the house is the upscale, well-equipped and informal kitchen. The features include; a bonus vegetable sink with multi-pur filtered water, all stainless appliances and easy pass-through layout with plenty of work stations. The dining room opens out onto both patio and deck for seamless outdoor living.

The house was constructed with universal design standards: level-in access; bathroom sink, tub, shower and toilet all discretely designed for wheel chair access. As well as a stained concrete, single level, radiantly heated floor throughout.

All three bedrooms have great features, suitable for couples or a family gathering. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and double shower. Second bedroom has queen bed with private bathroom and Dutch door to the Creek. Third (kids) bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds (twin over full) a cathedral ceiling and adjacent bathroom with six foot tub..Den has gas fireplace, queen sleeper sofa and heavy curtain for privacy. Extra mattress, air beds, feather beds and linens for larger groups.

More highlights: included on the 2007 Marin Green Home Tour, six doors for easy outdoor access, light-filled house and garage with laundry, outdoor spa and shower and plenty of off-street parking for guests!

Lovely setting close to the beach. We had everything we needed and more. The outside garden patio was a favorite spot to sit around the fire in the evenings after a walk on the beach. Plenty of room to spread out. Thank you for making your beautiful home available. We hope to be back soon.

Amazing house in perfect location!

This house was AMAZING for our family and very spacious! The three bedrooms offered plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 children and my kids and our dog Rocky could walk to the beach! It was so close and safe! The kitchen had everything and we also used the hot tub!

Magical and amazing-exceeded all expectations!!!

I recently stayed at the Coop for 4 nights and can't even begin to describe how amazing this place is! From the moment you arrive, you're surrounded by lush landscaping, 2 large patio areas, and a private/enclosed hot tub! The house is on a very quiet and tranquil street just steps away from the beach. Beautifully updated and very spacious interior with a great zen like design feel and all the amenities! The owner Don is a true gem who goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are happy and comfortable at the Coop during their stay! I do not have one negative thing to say.....this is THE house to stay at on Stinson Beach!!
