It is located on the 3rd floor and therefore inaccessible to persons with reduced mobility.
It was remade in 2012
My husband and I loved staying here. The spartment is incredibly light and airy with beautiful views over the river and the old town. There is a boulangerie just steps away and restaurants within minutes. We didn't need to use the car, but were able to park it for free within sight of the apartment. There are 3 flights of stairs, but it is worth climbing them to get here!
Perfectly furbished cosy apartment with great views over the Loîre and the village. Couldn't be any better! A wealth of things to see and do around Saumur, the owner provides many great ideas and informations how to spend a perfect time. Thank You!!!
Apartment spacious, spotlessly clean and generally well-equipped (although the lack of a washing machine would have been a problem if we had stayed longer) and actually better than the website description and photos.
Owner speaks good English and was very helpful and friendly.
The real bonus is the location, overlooking the Loire (with free parking on the lower quayside), with views of the chateau to the rear, and just minutes from the city centre shops and restaurants. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
The apartment is exactly like the pictures- lovely and very comfortable, spacious. The listing is 100% accurate. We used the kitchen- well equipped. We enjoyed saumur and the degustation. The location was great- very well located. The owner was also very helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Definitely recommend!
Top floor apartment
A fantastic apartment, in a truly brilliant location overlooking the Loire river, which made for an excellent position watching the fireworks by the bridge! And from the rear overlooking the church. Really spacious, and easily accommodated 2 couples, very close to the town centre and definitely walking distance to the restaurants and shops, just be aware that the apartment is on the 2nd floor, so there are a few steps! Aliette made access to the apartment very easy and was very easy to contact, a lovely host!! Thoroughly recommended!
