About Joe & Emmy
After graduating from the University of Arkansas, Joe and Emmy spent seven years in Nashville but the pull back to Fayetteville was too strong to deny! We were thrilled to return in 2017 to a town we love so much. Fayetteville has a thriving local scene that supports it's independent shops, restaurants, and entrepreneurs. The climate is beautiful year-round with four true seasons; the leaves changing in the fall is not to be missed! We are so grateful to welcome you to The Greenhouse and look forward to hosting you!
Joe & Emmy purchased this Guest House in 2017
Why Joe & Emmy chose Fayetteville
When we decided to move back to Fayetteville, we were dead-set on living in the historic district. When we came across our little home online, we drove overnight from Nashville to attempt to snatch it up! Thankfully we did, and that has led you here! The Greenhouse is located in Fayetteville’s Historic District which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. If the weather permits, please walk out the driveway, take a right onto Prospect and spend a while winding your way through the gorgeous homes located in the square between Olive, Lafayette, Washington & Prospect. There are over 100 Victorians, Craftsman Bungalows, Italianates and more to see!
What makes this Guest House unique
The Greenhouse sits tucked back in our backyard with a private entrance and Schlage lock for secure access. The natural light streaming in from the windows, doors and skylights makes an ideal place for growing plants. The Greenhouse also takes its name from the large, vintage, green tiles covering the floor. We hope you'll also help yourself to a few strawberries growing right outside the front door!

Perfect property for my daughter and I to stay. Close to campus and very quaint. If she chooses to attend U of A, I would continue to stay here.
This is a beautiful backyard guest house in a historic, as I understand it, part of Fayetteville. If you want a quiet and relaxing place to stay in Fayetteville, this is it! Even though it sits in the host’s backyard, it is still very private. I sat out in the backyard lawn under the trees in the morning and did some work from my phone. Totally relaxing.
private space for 2-3
Secluded location not far from the action. Spacious bedroom and living area with a small kitchen and bathroom. This is perfect for 2 people (3 can fit if you are family). No dishwasher + ants in the kitchen = hand wash dishes frequently. We would stay here again.
Perfect neighborhood setting
Really enjoyed our stay.
The Greenhouse was amazing. It was super clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Greenhouse. The location was within walking distance to downtown Fayetteville. Because of the rainy weather, we didn't get to take advantage of the short walk. However, our overall experience was great. The Greenhouse was in excellent condition, between the amenities, cleanliness, and overall layout. We will definitely be renting again in the near future and will be recommending this place to our friends.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We're sorry we didn't get to meet in person, but look forward to doing so on your next visit! :)
Thank you again for choosing the Greenhouse for your stay!
Clean, quiet, charming, cozy!
We loved our stay here. Easy check-in/check-out. Hosts were great communicators. The location was close to everything, but far enough removed to get some peace and quiet at the end of the day. It’s a light, bright charming cottage with everything you need. Would stay here again given the opportunity. Thank you!
