Spacious well fitted accommodation. Sleeps 6. Parking in underground garage.

Spacious and very well appointed apartment in the lovely resort of Colonia Sant Jordi. Balcony and extensive rear terrace of 150 sq metres, 150 metres from the beach, pretty port and marina, shops, restaurants & bars. Three bedrooms, 1 king size bed and 2 with two twin beds each and wardrobes Bathroom and separate shower room, each with sink and WC. Spacious living/dining room and large balcony with table and chairs. Fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, coffee maker, electric kettle, & toaster. Small utility room with washing machine. Iron & ironing board. TV with British channels, DVD and CD player. Very large rear terrace with sun beds, walled in for child safety. The resort is on a peninsula surrounded by pretty sandy beaches and small coves. There are regular bus services to Palma through Campos and Llucmajor and to other resorts.

The apartment does not have air conditioning but is very airy and no-one has been uncomfortable even in the hottest months.

The apartment is available from 15.00 on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00 on the day of departure. We will try to be flexible on this but cannot be guaranteed,

We are very happy to arrange taxis for your airport runs if required. The local taxi is a little cheaper than the airport rank, and of course, knows exactly where the apartment is situated. He is very reliable and will be at the airport to meet you with your name on a paper. The apartment is available from 15.00 on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00 on the day of departure. We will try to be flexible on this but cannot be guaranteed,

Lovely apartment close to beach

We had a wonderful week here,everything we needed in the apartment and very clean.

Peter was very helpful both before and after our arrival.Plenty of space in the apartment for the four of us and everything worked(we have stayed in apartments where appliances havent worked).Plenty of storage space and coat hangers.The safe was easy to use.

Only negative was the outdoor space at back needed a little tlc and the sun bed cushions could have done with being a little thicker.

All in all a comfortable week in a good location,well worth the money.

I would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

Disappointing and dirty

The apartment is on the ground floor of a large block of apartments a short distance from the Port Beach and overlooks the street. It is up a few steps to the door of the apartment and we were very surprised to see it described as wheelchair accessible. We were met at the apartment by the agents, who showed us around the apartment and how to work the large television in the living area.

Our first impression was that the apartment was dark, tired and not very clean. It very clearly had not been professionally cleaned and prepared and was dusty, with sticky surfaces and utensils and smeared balcony windows. The owner offered a refund of 150 euros for the lack of cleanliness of the flat - which we accepted. It remained poor value for money given the price charged: the cleanliness and the quality of the apartment (with the bottom shelf in the fridge door stuck on with tape and unusable, light bulbs not working and musty smelling bed linen) and the general appearance of the property.

Although the apartment was described as spacious, it did not feel particularly so, even though we were three adults sharing the property which states it sleeps 6 people. The bedrooms with two beds in were small - one bedroom was not wide enough for the two single beds to be side by side. There were two outside areas - overlooking the street there is a reasonably sized balcony, although a quarter of it was taken up with a very large satellite dish. At the back of the apartment, overlooked by all the four sides of the apartment block, was a larger outside walled in area. This was next to all the outside areas for other flats in the block, was featureless and not private or attractive.

We were a party of three and three of the five beds had been made up with duvets and fitted sheets. The other two single beds had no linen or covers on them - the agent said this was in case they were used when not needed - which was unfortunate as it added to the generally tired appearance of the property, as did the lack of cleanliness, the gas canister in the corner of the living area and the large sun umbrella propped up in the corner of one of the bedrooms. It did not seem to be professionally managed and prepared for professional rental.

On a positive note, the apartment kitchen was very well equipped with all the utensils needed for cooking, microwave, coffee maker, etc. and located a short walk down the street from the beach.

We would not recommend or return to this property.

Truly great

A great apartment in a great location in a great resort. We really enjoyed our fortnight in this apartment and can really recommend it. Marga and Peter were on hand if needed and everything you could need for a perfect holiday was provided. We will be back again. Thank you.

Hidden treasure

This is our second visit to this apartment which is ideally placed for your stay in this fantastic resort

Peter & Marga greeted us on arrival & helped immediately with any queries

The apartment is very spacious spotlessly clean with good facilities

The beach is minutes away as is a good choice of restaurants & bars

Our favourite was the Cassia Beach House along with many more!

The town itself has a good mix of shops with two mini supermarkets close to the apartment

I would highly recommend the apartment & the resort good for a family or a group of friends we will be back again next year

lovely resort and comfortable accomodation

a beautiful quiet unspoilt resort with lots of lovely places to eat.

Perfect for small children we hope to return with our grandson.

The apartment is very well equipped, comfortable,well maintained and the owner is very helpful with transfers etc.

Perfect for holidays for all age groups

We booked this apartment for our grandchildren, and their children. We have an apartment a few doors away. We could not manage to accommodate them all, so booked Apartment Lindsay , for them. They were delighted with it, especially as it was so near the beach . With everything you could desire in a Holiday Home. Our Great Grand Children, love it too, so much so, that they have left their beach toys with us, as they wish to go there again next year.The restaurants, are very easy to walk to and they cater for small children. They visited The Marine Center, and are still talking about all they saw there. Marga and Peter were there to greet them, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you both...Their comments were " An amazing Holiday" Wish we were still there!

The pretty resort of Colonia de Sant Jordi is on a peninsula surrounded by lovely beaches and has all the facilities you need for a great holiday including boating, wind surfing, fishing, paddle tennis and horse riding. There are many excellent restaurants, bars and shops yet without the hustle and bustle of some of the larger resorts. The apartment is by the main beach of Es Port and the lovely marina. There are plenty of boat trips available from the marina, especially snorkelling trips to the Island of Cabrera which is noted for its ecological importance in the Mediteranean. The pretty village of Ses Salines is only a few kilometres away and has some of the Islands best restaurants from seafood specialists, local & contemporary cuisine, to an Argentinian grill (fabulous steaks). The nearby beach of Es Trenc is the most beautiful and natural beach in Majorca. There are several golf courses within a 30 minute drive.
