Apartment located in the beach front, in a beautiful building, facing the Atlantic Ocean, in Vila Nova de Gaia - Porto - mouth of the river Douro, in Northern Portugal. Situated in the first line of sea, Lavadores Beach and Salgueiros Beach, is the ideal place for a holiday or short stay and also a beautiful place to live.

Excellent sea views from the living room and the kitchen. A spacious and secluded balcony over the beach, with magnificent solar exposure, where you can sunbathe and admire the magnificent sunsets every day.

This 2 bedroom apartment sleeps 4 people and is recently refurbished and furnished. Has a spacious living room and kitchen. The living room with an excellent view and an exceptional sun light is equipped with comfortable and modern sofas, has a 50 inch LCD TV, cable TV with 150 channels and free wireless Internet access (WIFI) at 50 Mb/s. The spacious kitchen is equipped with all necessary equipment and kitchen utensils.

The 2 rooms, one is a suite, are equipped with king size beds and super comfortable pocket spring mattresses with a layer of premium memory foam to allow a deep rest and relaxing. Has 2 full bathrooms.

Conveniently newly equipped with clothes, towels, all utensils and equipment needed for 6 people.

Central heating.

2 new aluminum bikes with full suspension for free use of guests.

1 large garage (box) located in the basement, with direct lift access to the apartment

Wonderful place to stay and a great view of the ocean

We stayed in this apartment in Vila Nova de Gaia for 3 months, and found it very enjoyable and especially relaxing. We spent countless hours on the balcony, the enclosed balcony, or the living room just staring at the ocean. The building is very well constructed and quiet. This place on the top (3rd) floor is very spacious, 2 king bedrooms with comfortable memory-foam mattress, 2 baths (one in-suite), a large well equipped kitchen, large dining/living room with glass doors to the balcony. There is a bus stop one block away, a grocery store about 5-6 blocks away, and many restaurants and bars for the beach goers. The bus runs about every 15 minutes and goes past many shopping areas, the Devesas train station, and into Porto itself.

Vila Nova de Gaia is not touristy...it is more of a seaside playground for the locals. We would definitely return.

Superb apartment in a beautiful area

We had an amazing stay here, the apartment is spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped. The kitchen has all the appliances you need, the beds are comfy and the bathrooms are nice and clean (like the whole place).

The best thing though is the view. Breathtaking, with floor-to-ceiling windows you can enjoy it in the living room and on the large balcony it is even better!

The only dowside was that the garage was extremely hard to access with our rather large rental car if other residents parked their cars there as well. You probably won't have this problem with a small car.

Marcos is a great host, flexible and ready to help, also provided us with some infos of the area and Porto.

We'd definitely go again and I couldn't recommend the apartment more!

Amazing apartment

The apartment was very clean and well equipped with all modern facilities and the manager was very attentive. We were very impressed by the view from the balcony which was stunning and you could sit and relax and watch the sun set. We also enjoyed the 2 bikes that came with the apartment and we rode to Porto and along the beach bike tracks. We can't wait to return on day and spend longer enjoying this wonderful location in Portugal.

Wonderfull

Brief stop on our journey from Lisbon to the North of Spain. Porto is a beautiful and very interesting city and would justify a further stay. The apartment is wonderful, modern, elegantly decorated, clean, generously sized and very comfortable. Has an excellent balcony where we want to stay all day contemplating the sea and the sunset. There are many restaurants, beach bars and some shops right next door.

Excellent stay and an apartment to revisit for further stay in the summer.

Superior apartment

Superior apartment, clean, spacious, modern, decorated and furnished with fine taste, aimed at comfort, functionality of space and elegance.

Located on the beachfront, the apartment has a large balcony with a magnificent view over the sea. It's an invitation to fill the eyes of sea and sky blue, have our meals and stay till the end of magnificent sunset.

There are numerous beach side restaurants, beach bars and shops right next to the building. Freshly baked bred and pastries in "Principe de Salgueiros" at 100 meters (the croissants are superb). The supermarket is however at one mile from the apartment. There are two new bikes to enjoy the long and pleasant miles of cycling track along the beach. A bus stop is located less than 50 metres from the apartment. However I recommend to rent a car to enlarge your freedom of choice and mobility.

Ideal place for beach holidays and city, where I will return soon to spend my summer holidays.

White sandy beaches in front of the apartment. An extension of 15 Km of white sand beaches, cycling tracks and 'jogging' along the beach that can take you to the cellars of the world famous Port Wine, just 6 km from the apartment. We provide 2 full suspension aluminum bicycles for free use of guests.

A Children's playground is located near the building, next to the sea.

The apartment is located at 20 meters of beachfront restaurants, bars and cafés, a bakery with fresh bread and pastries throughout the day; It is 700 metres from the mouth of the Douro River, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean, which is also a habitat of many species of birds in the area; It is at 5 km from shopping centres, 5 km from golf courses, 6 km from the historic area of Porto and the nightlife, with bars and live music. The city was awarded one more time the distinction of best destination in Europe in 2013 by magazines of international tourism. A visit to take a drink, a 'glass of Porto' in the 'night of Porto' is then 'mandatory'.

It's a calm and relaxing place, close to everything. An automobile, although recommended, is not indispensable. There is a bus stop immediately in front of the building.

It's a great place to spend your vacation, it doesn't matter if you go to the beach, to walk, to make a monumental or historical 'tour' or boating upstream the Douro, or whether you mix with the local population, feel the heartbeat of the city and experience its food, wines, traditions, their way of life and culture. It has always something for everyone.

Definitely is not just great for the summer, but a great place to stay all year round.
