Katia is a warm and friendly host and the appartement was beautiful. Lots of lovely decoration and the beds were very comfortable. Great location!
Thank you so much for this warmful appreciation
Most atmospheric we've ever stayed in
Stayed here in August 17 , the prettiest place inside and out , so glad we found it . Really didn't want to leave . It was well equipped and comfortable and Katia is really friendly Would love to return.
Best VRBO I've ever stayed in!
The g'ite is charming, and the hand painted decor truly lovely. The town is small but close to amenities, and rich with history. It was my favorite town out of all the ones we visited in the area.
I stayed here with my two young children and we were completely comfortable, we loved walking the cobbled streets each day and listening to the storks nesting on the roof tops.
If you have the chance to stay here, do so, it's truly perfect.
Charming Property in a Fairy-tale Village
One of, if not the most beautiful place we have stayed ! The property from 1686 has been lovingly and authentically renovated (there are before and after photos in an album), it’s a real journey back in time but with all modern facilities. The artistic owner has presented a period property decorated skilfully with her own artwork. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and the bathroom large with a super shower. You also have a parking space at the rear of the property. Eguisheim is such a pretty and interesting place. It has a ‘town trail’ with points of interest information fired onto ceramic plaques around the town. A QR code on each, if you have the facility on your smartphone, gives a short video too. The storks nest on the high buildings and had young at the time of our visit in June. In fact from our window we would watch a stork roost for the night on a nearby chimney pot. He would fly off in the morning during breakfast! Such a lot to see and do, and the flowers throughout the town are magnificent! We were lucky enough to catch a Sunday flea market and a mid week music festival when the village came alive with home-baked food and local wine - wonderful. I hope we will return one day, can thoroughly recommend!
Mme Schmitt est très sympa et nous conseillons volontiers ce gite à tous ceux qui veulent découvrir l'Alsace;
Nous avons choisi ce village idéalement situé pour nous car il est à 5 mn de Colmar, proche de la route des vins et à 35 mn de Mulhouse où nous voulions découvrir les musées.
Located on the wine route at the foot of the Vosges, Eguisheim, one of the oldest town in Alsace, wraps in concentric circles around his castle. This picturesque village with beautiful half-timbered houses, rated one of the most beautiful villages of France ', is among the best of your stay.
