Dinan painters apartment.

The apartment is situated in the heart of Dinan and has a wonderful view of the basilica of St Saviour. It is located close to the bars, cafes and shops and has underground parking close by which is included in the price. The apartment was very well laid out, clean and well equipped and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. It has two nice sized bedrooms with comfortable beds that sleeps 4. There is also a pullout bed-settee as well. There is a small balcony that looks out over the st Saviour square and to say it is so close the apartment is quiet (apart from the church bells which is expected in France). The bathroom had a fantastic shower which even had a radio in it!

All appliances were new and easy to use. We used the oven and hob regularly and also the washing machine.

Overall we would give this apartment 8/10 and would return.

This is a historic home with wonderful broad

Floor planks that lean a little as might be expected. Best of all were the views out the

Window of the historic cathedral that has it's

Origins in the 12th century and the intimate

Place Saint Saveur with it's lovely medieval


Parking in a secure underground garage within steps of the place saint saveur was furnished by the hosts.

We loved Dinan and this apartment and would have loved to stay a lot longer.

Wonderful old suite in the historic center.

Very central location and fully equipped kitchen, very new updated bathroom. Small veranda overlooking the church square.

The stove proved to be a challenge as there were no instructions and the owner spoke no english but we figured it all out.

Great choice....great location, great value

We were really impressed and very pleased with our choice. It was surprisingly close to the basilica, which thankfully did not ring the church bells at all during our five nights there. The windows were soundproof and provided beautiful views. The apartment was extremely well equipped appliances and fixtures were all new. The building is old, but charming. For walking in the town, this was a great location . Parking was super easy once we were shown the location. Being in the old part of the town, there is no parking right at the apartment, but there is a secure modern complex with free card access a short walk around the corner. The host was very nice, and very helpful despite speaking very little English. Practical advice: if you cannot walk stairs easily, be aware there is no elevator and this apartment is on the third floor. the floor of the place sags towards the middle, making it interesting to walk around the place . But in a charming way . If you don't find things like this charming, heads up. Great value for the price. Recommended for sure.

Excellent location and great amenities for the perfect stay in Dinan

I have nothing to add to the other positive reviews of the property. It wasn't hot when we stayed, so I don't know if the lack of air conditioning would be an issue or not. The windows do an excellent job of reducing the street noise to virtually zero, as there is a loud and very noisy pub next door which tends to stay open late. It seems to be the only place in Dinan open past 10pm during the week. The oven, stove and dishwasher were easy to use and all the appliances are top of the line. Beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic. It's a very nice apartment and the money spent on remodeling was used on the right things. Covered parking is conveniently located a few hundred meters away and the free parking pass is very nice to have. A simple page of instructions would be nice to have but we managed without.
