Access to the picturesque island of Hydra is easy It can be reached from the port of Piraeus by hydrofoil in just one and a half hour. The particularity of Hydra Greece is that all vehicles are prohibited, a fact which increases its charm.
Overlooking Kamini village with a beautiful sea view from the upper terrace.Very close to a supermarket, tavernas and only a short stroll to Kamini beach.
It offers accommodation for 6 to 7 persons. Air-conditioned, wireless internet, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, radio and telephone for incoming calls. Local calls are free. You cannot call abroad or mobile numbers.
It offers 168 m2 of living space, and a further 100m2 terrace and 2 inner courtyards.( both covered with awing ).
On entering the main gate of the house, there is an inner courtyard, covered with awing ( cane pergola ), where on hotter summer days is the perfect are for shade. An external staircase from the front inner courtyard leads to the terrace upstairs.
It is divided in 2 parts which are intercommunicating. One part -ground and upper floor - comprises of kitchen A - dinning room (open plan) and sitting room with sofas ( an extra person can sleep - child, only 70cm wide ), bathroom A and master bedroom A. A staircase from the kitchen leads to the upper floor where there is a very spacious bedroom with double bed (Master bedroom ) and a bathroom. In the bedroom there is a sofa where an extra person can sleep (child). From the kitchen you have access to the back and to the front inner courtyard ( both covered with awing, marble dinning table and deck chairs ). The other part - only ground floor - comprises of Kitchen B - dinning table, Bathroom B and 2 twin bedrooms : bedroom B and bedroom C.
Both kitchens are fully equipped with all the necessary appliances. There is a washing machine and a dishwasher.
There are 2 inner courtyards covered with awning that provide shade throughout the day.
From the upper master bedroom A there is access to a large terrace ( half covered with awing, 2 marble dinning tables and deck chairs ), which allows you to enjoy the sea view, watch the sunrise in the morning and capture the sunset in the evening.
You can also access the terrace from the external staircase from the inner courtyard.
There is no barbecue in the house. The use of a barbecue is forbidden because accidents have occurred in the island in the past when using a barbecue due to windy weather.
For safety reasons, not advisable for children under 6 years, because the wall of the terrace upstairs is law.
We will meet guests in the harbor and escort them to Kamini and show them around the house.We will come 2 times a week to water the flowers and examine the state and condition of the house .
We will also arrange for donkeys to carry guests' luggage to the house. Guests are responsible for the fee of €20 per donkey ( each can carry 2 suitcases )
The tenant must use the property in a tenant-like manner, make good use of the letting, keep it in a decent state throughout the rental period and report any damage immediately to the owner.

SECURITY DEPOSIT =
There is a deposit of €400 for security reasons the day of arrival. This deposit will be returned at the end of the tenancy period, after handing over the pair of keys received and after checking with the owner that everything in the house is okay. Part or all of the deposit may be withheld by the owner in case of damages .
If tenants loose any of the keys they will be responsible for paying the replacement of the lock and the key.
SECURE BOOKING =
50% deposit is required in advance to secure booking with balance of payment due no later than 4
weeks prior to arrival.
CANCELATION POLICY = STRICT
• In case of cancellation the 50% booking deposit is not refundable.
Only 50% refund until one week prior to arrival.
