In the mountains of Armona, over 2,000-feet high, this two-story house is completely furnished, has a large living room with a fireplace, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms complete with pillows and linen. House amenities include mashing machine, TV, wifi and heating.
There is a small balcony out front, where you can enjoy your breakfast in the summertime, or a glass of wine in the fall, perfect for up to 6 people.
Located close to the old Via Francigena and surrounded by the Alpi Cozie park, Armona is the perfect place for your holidays: relaxing in the alps or engaging in sport activities such as mountain biking or hiking.
It is a naturally beautiful place where you can enjoy Piedmont’s famous wines and food.
During the winter, ski lovers can easily get to Pian de Frais ski lodge, only 5km (3 miles) away.
Susa (5 minutes from the house) offers not only bars, restaurants, and markets, but also the history of an ancient roman and medieval city, making it one of the most fascinating places in the Piedmont.
Susa Valley is also filled with history and fantastic views. Only 4km from Armona you can find 7th century churches, or the Exilles fort, whose original foundation is most likely dated back to the romans and the celtics, and has been built and rebuilt over time. In Novalesa, it is possible to visit the Beneditina de SS Pietro ed Andres abbey, built in 726. Less than 30 minutes away you can find the Sacra de San Michele, an abbey dated back to 983 which was then remodeled to its current state between the 11th and 14th centuries.
And finally, you can find the the magic city of Turin, filled with history, monuments, and museums only a 30-minute drive away. Winter sport lovers can enjoy Via Lattea’s, 212 slopes and 69 lifts, also a short drive away.
