The centre of town is a 15 to 20 minute walk along a pretty coastal path or a 5 minute drive.Sitges' glamorous port is even closer and offers a wide variety of cocktail terraces, cafes and fabulous restaurants. For those who don’t know it Sitges is a Spanish resort with a difference and a far cry from the noisy typical resorts of the Costas. It has been fashionable since the 1890´s, when it became an avant-garde art world hang-out attracting writers, painters, intellectuals and artists as a home and inspiration for their work. It has also been one of Spain´s most anti-conventional, anything-goes resorts since the 1960s. Nowadays Sitges appeals to everyone from jet setters to young travellers, honeymooners to week ending families, Barcelona night owls to an international gay crowd. It benefits from a micro climate with an average of 300 days of sunshine a year. There are 17 beautiful sandy beaches, there’s a lively nightlife if you like to party and there are lots of groovy boutiques if you need to spruce up your wardrobe as well as an impressive range of authentic restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Sitges is also renowned for it’s many Fiestas and awesome firework displays.

Leisure: You will find a wide range of outdoor cafés and bars open year-round where you can have a good time with your partner, family and friends. The shopping area of Sitges is located in the city centre, around the streets Sant Francesc and Major, the streets de Jesús and de les Parellades, the streets going down to the sea and the streets Sant Gaudenci, Sant Josep, Sant Bonaventura and Àngel Vidal. Sitges is a tourist town with free business hours and many shops open on Sunday and public holidays. Sitges has a remarkable amount of antique shops and markets. The outdoor market is held on Thursday. In the Middle Ages, it already took place around the City Hall and the Church. There you will find clothes and kitchen utensils among a wide range of things. The three marinas of Sitges (Port Ginesta, Garraf and Aiguadolç) and several yacht clubs offer a wide range of nautical activities: sailing schools, boat and cruiser rental, charters, canoes, scuba diving, etc.

Perfect location, stunning views, well equipped, comfortable apartment.

  • 4 of 5

Located on the western edge of Sitges town this apartment has the most amazing view of the bay, the town and of the whole Mediterranean sea. The balcony is right over the sea and if you had a fishing rod you could actually fish from there! We stayed for one week in October when the apartment block was very quiet and we almost had the facility to ourselves. The apartment had plenty of space for the three of us and our daughter slept upstairs in the pull-down bunk bed. The apartment was well equipped and had everything that we required and more. Ample hot water for showers. We did not need the air-con so cannot say how the apartment would be in very hot weather. The communal pool area is small but the pool was always beautifully clean. It is a good 15 minute walk into Sitges but there is one family beach less than 5 minutes away and then all the other beaches all along Sitges waterfront. A supermarket about 10 minute walk up the back of town has everything you could need. We had no car and did not find the walking too much but it might be different if it was very hot. There is a local bus that goes around Sitges which comes out to Punto Gaviota so that is always an option and a taxi costs about 8 euros one way

Sitges has lots of shops, restaurants and bars but not much on offer if you want entertainment or things to do. The beaches were very quiet and clean.

Sitges train station is right in the middle of town and the train to Barcelona runs every 20 minute or so and takes between 20 and 40 minutes depending which service you get, and costs about 8 euro return. There is also a bus service to Barcelona.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Punto Gaviota and Carlos and Ramon could not have been more helpful. We would love to return some time, and will always have memories of sitting on the balcony, watching the sun go down over Sitges and listening to the the waves below.

Beautiful property with spectacular views

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was situated directly overlooking the sea and the bay of Sitges giving amazing views from the rooms and terraces. It was spacious enough for our party of five and had a well appointed kitchen that meant we could cook lovely food and enjoy the views. The apartment block was quiet giving us unrestricted use of the pool. All in all a lovely place.

A wonderful week of waking up to a perfect view of the blue Mediterranean Sea

  • 5 of 5

The property has all modern conveniences, the rooms are spacious and well decorated and present fantastic sea views from all of the living spaces. The apartment complex is built in a traditional style with a pool, table tennis and plenty of shade to allow one to remain comfortable in the heat of the day before venturing out to explore the beautiful coastal town of Sitges or simply to relax on the local beaches.

I can thoroughly recommend the property for a very relaxing holiday.

Lovely but noisy

  • 3 of 5

This apartment is in a great position in Sitges if you want to be outside of the town but walking distance from the port. We walked into Sitges and caught the bus to the port back several times and also used local taxis for going to and from the train station. The apartment itself is in a lovely small complex and has great views over the sea - I don't think you can beat the view from the balcony. there is also a small beach close by which was never busy. The apartment was ok for the 4 of us, very clean but did feel a bit small compared to what we are used to - the upstairs room is very small but does have a lovely big balcony. The pictures are very accurate. The booking was easy and Ramon is very accomodating. The bathrooms are great and plenty of hot water but very poor quality towels. The main negative is that the railway is noisy and the trains start running about 6 in the morning - not good if you are a light sleeper like me. We did however love Barcelona and Sitges and the ease with which we were able to travel in and out of Barcelona was great and the complex itself is very quiet and friendly.

Spektakulären Blick! Great Place! (Auf Enclisch und Deutsch)

  • 5 of 5

I cannot remember when I enjoyed a vacation so much! We vacationed there last month with our two children. We loved Sitges and Punta Gaviota offers a spectacular view of the Mediterranean. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need. I didn’t even mind cooking, since the view from the kitchen window was so amazing. It was large enough with two spacious bathrooms, that we didn’t feel crowded. The beach is a 5 minute walk, and restaurants are just a bit further. I also want to thank the owner, who responded within an hour our reservation request, after our reservation at another location was bumped less than 24 hours prior to our scheduled arrival. We will definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. Just a 15 min walk up the beach to Sitges. The balconies are incredible and Carlos was very easy to work with and very responsive. Perfecto!
