Apartment in Avignon

Just spent 6 days in Avignon and this apartment was lovely. A quick 2-3 block walk to the city wall and Rue des Teinturies with its great restaurants. The temperature the week were there was very arm, 38-39 C so the air conditioning was wonderful to have. Phillipe was very quick to respond to questions and met us at the apartment. He has many booklets with ideas and photos of local day trips.

Fantastic, Spacious and great location in the heart of Avignon

I stayed with 5 of my dear friends in this fantastic accommodation and wished we could have stayed longer! The unit is immaculately clean, well laid out, newly renovated and tastefully decorated with fully equipped kitchen fitted for gourmet cooking! And the place is spacious for us. The location is near all amenities, including bakeries, grocery stores, restaurants and a 10-15 minute walk to the historic walled city for sightseeing and many attractions. There was a balcony where we enjoyed our breakfast while soaking in the beautiful sunshine.

The most important and unique aspect of our stay is the hospitality and kindness of the owner, Phillippe. We had made arrangements to be picked up from and to the TGV station on our arrivals and departures as well as for sight seeing tours in Provence and for many other side trips. Phillippe has designed a fantastic sight seeing day trip to fit our needs and drop us off to our next destination, then picked us up again for other side trips. He even offered to pick us up from the grocery store when we could not get a Taxi. How lucky can we be! He certainly went out of his way to assist us.

Phillippe, on behalf of our group, I extend sincere thank you for all your kindness, flexibility and considerations to make our Provence Holiday an enjoyable and memorable one! You are always available when we need you, dependable and very honest.

You are a great ambassador for Provence, a caring landlord, a friend and you treated us like one of your families. We would be delighted to recommend your Apartment and your touring and transportation services to our friends and families, and we hope to come back.

Huge wonderful apartment

We stayed at this home for 3 nights in May. We wished we had booked it longer as it is so conveniently located to explore the area. The apartment itself is very large and very clean and could easily accommodate more than the four of us. It was wonderful to share a bottle of wine on the small deck at the end of a busy day. The whole apartment is very well equipped. Phillipe is a wonderful host. He has prepared a book with maps and details of all the nearby sites. He spent time with us describing the area. Overall we loved this home and wouldn't hesitate to book it again.
