TOTALLY PRIVATE AND DETACHED TRADITIONAL SPANISH Casa 2 BED, comfy relaxing interior. Country house on one level. Great for family fun or a romantic getaway, or enjoy with friends, good sized private pool (3 x 6m), terracing and BBQ area. Kitchen, dinning room/lounge and master bedroom have great views of the countryside. Internet connection, TV and Woodburner for cooler months. Be in your own world, but not far from local amenties within 10/15 minutes, local beaches with 20/25. No neigbours. Take the chill pill!

Laze by the pool with a good book and local wine, get inspired by the spectacular views, great views from inside the house.

Enjoy exploring stay put and go nowhere feel better for it!

Great stay

Lovely little Casa, perfect for us. Close enough to all amenities yet has a remote feel with no neighbors. Loved the pool. Great and easy communication with hosts.

Stunning Location, tatty accommodation

Arrived with great expectations for a bit of autumn sun, and were not disappointed, at least with the weather. Cottage however left something to be desired. While I know it had experienced severe storms the night before, it smelt dank and musty. Disappointing standard and 'traditional' is not an excuse for tatty. Chipped and cracked crockery including no proper wine glasses. Indeed we had to go and purchase 2 for our stay. Complete mixed bag of crockery and cutlery. Property advertised a dishwasher yet did not come with a single tablet. Advertised a wood burning stove yet made no provision for fuel. When asked, owner declined to provide any. Problem with the toilet meant it did not flush properly which was not pleasant. When kettle blew, it was 2 days before a replacement was provided, yet the owners live within 5 mins of the property. Swimming pool less than appealing, with flaking paint and muck. Appears that cottage is cleared of anything left by lessees to extent there was not even detergent left for washing machine.

Directions good, especially with note about the supermarket which was very good indeed. However they make reference to blue gates but they are not he first blue gates you get to, though despite the owners living there they could not work out where we were??

Owner's Response: Property cleaned/aired morning of arrival, 2 days of severe storms, a rainy smell would be inevitable in the location. 'Traditional' is not an excuse for 'tatty' - matter of taste! Chipped crockery, 2 full dinner services on site supplied with 6 tumblers/6 wine glasses in kitchen. Sorry if they were not to liking/styling. Dishwasher tablets were under sink left by previous occupants. Washing powders/dishwasher tablets not advertised as supplied. Woodburning stove – Wood is supplied for Winter lets on request. Electric heating also in situ. There was an issue with the toilet draining slowly, the considerable rain had affected the septic tank. This could not be rectified during occupation due to strain on local services after storms. Toilet was functional. You arrived 4.30 pm Monday, provided with replacement electric kettle 9 am Wednesday morning, not 2 days. We did have kettle available Tues eve but could not gain access to property through gated entrance and messaged accordingly. Kettle was checked out - no problem with it, base of kettle was wet, possibly overfilled which would explain tripping. Situation with missing tiles/damaged paintwork on floor of pool was explained to you in person, pool is at end of it's 2 year cycle and will be drained/tiled this winter. Unable to undertake repairs during the letting seasons as pool would have to be drained/dried out which would take 3 weeks and would require further 2 weeks after repairs to be refilled. The water was clean and after the storms if you felt it needed a further clean this could have been requested while there was someone there to do it, you chose not to. Entrance to property has blue gates and if you had followed the instructions correctly you would have arrived at that point. Nobody in 8 years has arrived at the location you mentioned. You telephoned to tell us gates were locked, we went immediately and found gates opened, that is when we realised you were at wrong location, and called you to give you directions. How do you expect us to work out where you are if you haven't followed the directions correctly? We respond well to constructive criticism, and apologise for toilet and understand this inconvenience to you, however we find your comments negative and in some cases untrue. Property is as advertised on website and is clear what is provided/isn't provided. If people communicate their requirements before their arrival we are happy to oblige.
