About this property

Cozy ski retreat on Camelback Mountain w/ wood fireplace and indoor pool/jacuzzi

Looking for a place to take family or friends for a short or long stay in the poconos? You've found the right place. Message if special arrangements are needed.

3 bedroom mountain condo located just to the right of Camelback Mountain ski & Camelbeach area. Offered for your consideration as an alternative to the hotels.

Our 4 seasons condo features street level parking meaning no long steps to climb. Sleeps up to 10.

For guest sleeping:
1. Loft Bedroom has a queen bed (2 guests)
2. Lower Level Front Bedroom has a queen bed (2 guests in same bed). There is also an IKEA Friheten couch which has a studio-style pullout. This sofa converts quickly and easily into a spacious bed when you remove the back cushions and pull out the under-frame. Sofa, chaise and double bed in one. This is an option if you want to use it. It must be returned to sofa configuration. Bring queen sheet set if you would like to use this for accommodating an additional 1-2 guests as a second bed in the lower front bedroom.
3. Lower Rear Bunkroom has one bunkbed with twin upper (1 child guest) and queen lower (2 guest in same bed). There is a new second bunkbed which has new upper and lower full mattresses (1-2 guest on each one). Finally, there is a pullout trundle twin bed underneath the bunk bed & behind the drawers (1 child guest).

3 BR, 2.5 Bath | Check in is 4pm. Check out is 11am.

If guest would like to be assured that their particular apps and cable offerings are available, it is recommended that they bring own HDMI connected Apple TV, Roku, Cable dongle etc to plug in.

Parking lot level - so walk right in. No long stair cases to carry stuff up and down.

The dining area has seating for 6-8 next to a full kitchen and a ½ bath all on the same floor.

Upstairs loft bedroom with 1 queen bed, TV and a full bath/stall shower.

Basement has 2 bedrooms (1st has 1 queen bed. 2nd bedroom has two bunk beds), washer/dryer, and full bathroom with tub.

Main floor Living Room new furniture and also has a Roku TV with YouTubeTV to log into.

Rear Deck. There is a Weber Q gas grill with an extra gas container with 2 chairs to sit in for fresh mountain air!

Quiet hours are enforced after 11pm as this is a family-friendly village. Security guards make regular rounds to ensure compliance. If you are planning on making noise after 11pm, please stay at a different unit.

Please no smoking in the unit. Use ash try out front. Please do not flick cigarette butts.

Maximum number of occupants is 10. Recommended number of adults is 4-5 max since the lower rear bedroom has 2 bunk beds - one lower mattress is a queen, but the top and trundle are twin with 1 additional full bunk bed.

There is one outdoor security camera outside the front door. Tampering will result in security dispatch.

Guests should bring Duraflame logs for use in fireplace or bags of wood. Please do not put any non-wood materials in fireplace.

Dog(s) allowed for a fee ($200 per small dog). If you bring a dog, you are expected to have your dog pee/poop outside on the grassy areas across the parking lot or at the end of the street. Poop needs to be bagged and eventually brought to the trash disposal. Any pet damage will result in the loss of your security deposit (up to $300). If the amount of damage caused by a pet exceeds $300, then the renter will be responsible for the cost to replace/fix the damages.

If you have any questions, please message us as we love this place and are happy to help others to have happy experiences there as well. Great family spot for hanging as an alternative to the CBK resort with large numbers of people. The Village at Camelback is not owned by the Camelback resort, so it's a secret known only by those whose parents stayed, or maybe had a friend whose family owned a place. Usually there's some connection someone has had. If not, we invite you to make your own tradition here.

Why would you stay in a hotel?
As others have already said, both the property and the owner, Justin, were great. Communication was awesome and he made himself available well before and throughout our trip, although we really didn’t need anything. Wi-Fi is pretty good, even with a lot connected (we took a PS5 and worked fine in addition to other devices). You can truly walk to the end of your parking lot (if you have equipment) and ski/board down to the resort. You take a beginners trail that lets you “ski in” back to your place. Our sons loved it. We got some snow while we were there and boys got to make some snow tunnels, which was a big plus. We ate out a little and there are plenty of good options. We also had everything we needed in the kitchen as we brought some groceries as well as got carry-out one night too. Justin was gracious enough to provide his personal recommendations on local fare (he was right about Barley Creek Brewing Co around the corner ate there twice :) We love to try new locations but this is only a few hours from home and would definitely stay here again.

Long End of Season Ski Weekend
Overall, this house was great for a long weekend ski trip. It was a good size for a family of 4. Living room was spacious, kitchen was good size and the fireplace was a great addition. Bathrooms were clean and bedrooms were good size. Great place for easy access to skiing which my boys enjoyed walking 30 yards to the ski slope and sitting by the cozy fire. Thank you!

Wow, Awesome Location and Awesome Accomodations!
This was our first time visiting Camelback Mountain and are so glad we booked this property. The location is amazing. Walk to the slopes! You can stand on the front porch and see the chair lift. It accommodated our family of four and our friends (family of 3) beautifully. Everyone had space, the kitchen was well stocked, and the ski themed furniture is icing on the cake. Justin was outstanding when it came to communication. He not only made sure we had everything we needed for our visit but the personal tips and info he provided made our stay and experience over the top & better than we could have hoped for. Can’t recommend highly enough! We will be back. Thanks, Justin!

We grew up in the area and learned to ski in the Poconos in the 1980s. We are sharing our excitement with you. We have steadily made improvements to our ski mountain house since we like to use it too. Originally, we stayed in hotels. Since local hotels are hit/miss depending on who is staying above/below/down the hall, we decided to find a place. We are readily accessible whenever needed.

Why they chose this property

This property is truly special. In addition to being a short walk from the slopes, it's also close to the lower part of the mountain when traveling by car. This is also a quiet grouping of townhomes. There is 24/7 security so you can feel safe when you are here. There are activities during all seasons of the year, and you are close to many of them when staying in the Village of Camelback which is off Route 80 Exit 299 then 3 miles up the mountain.

This unit is in cluster 3 near the mountain, truly easy to ski on and so close-everyone even the kids can come and go as they want. Bonuses include a full bath in the upstairs loft, and a really nice wood fireplace. The biggest reason is close proximity to the mountain.

What makes this property unique

We are on the same side of the street as the mountain access. If you look at the map of the Village at Camelback, look at the layout. We are in Cluster 3. It is 100 steps from the slope to the front of our unit.

Parking is on the same level as the condo. 2 steps up. Very convenient for lugging suitcases in. Any unit which has an even number requires stair climbing. Some units will require extensive stair climbing. Units ending with even numbers usually mean there will be stair-climbing. Odd Numbered units are street parking. Loft with full upstairs bath.

New : Split Zone AC/Heat, Grill, Refrigerator, Sofa, Paint, Kitchen Counter Tops, Bunk Bed, Lodge Furniture, All Flooring. Loft has pocket door for privacy, Main floor and Loft bathroom renovated.

New 2022: Floor (all old tile removed) and replaced with luxury vinyl tile, pocket door in loft, main floor and upper bathrooms have dated tile removed and new sink/cabinets. New paint. New recessed lights.
External Nest security camera is mounted over front entrance. Front door code is wiped after guest check out so you can be assured that previous guests will know the access code to your unit.
