Horrible smell of mold

Left the apartment first thing the morning after check-in due to the intense smell of mold; should have left immediately but were too tired to find alternate housing. The smell was not only disgusting but also triggered sinus issues.

Owner's Response: Dear Lisa, once again we are very sorry for the inconvenience with the bad smell upon arrival. As discussed together, we well understand you were disappointed and once again we do apologise for that. As discussed, we were also disappointed since there was no smell in the apartment the morning of your arrival, when we prepared it, but also because the apartment has been fully renovated few months ago... The smell was also in the common part of the building, so as you understood, we then immediately made investigation near the building management company to understand the problem. In fact, repairs were carried on on the common waste water pipes of the building and that was the cause of the smell during 48 hours. Unfortunately we were not informed and we are so sorry you experienced a such situation. Our main goal is to make sure each of our visitor spend a comfortable and nice stay at the apartment! We are proud to have returning guests, but the unexpected problem wasn't under our control. The most important for us was to find an alternative solution for you. You preferred to be refunded of your stay, what we immediately did! I would really have preferred you to enjoy the comfort and the location of the apartment during your stay in Cannes!! Because the issue met was exceptional, unexpected from us and not under our control (common part of the building), we really would be pleased to welcome you there during a future stay in Cannes. View is stunning, location was perfect. Good range of local amenities and can easily walk to many popular tourist areas. Clean, comfortable beds. Sunbed and table and chairs on balcony were useful. Air conditioning very effective. Great private beaches opposite. We would definitely stay there again. Only downside was the wifi was very slow such that we switched it off and just used our 3G.

Great location for a fun summer holiday

Barbara and Pascal were fantastic to deal with and made the welcome and check-out a very pleasant experience. The apartment is exactly as is in the pictures with new kitchen and new bathroom and parking. We loved the view and the location - which is very convenient. Despite the shutters and curtains this area is very noisy at night time which really wouldn't bother some people but we have a 10 year old son so we were earlier to bed than the locals!!!

Superbe vue et proche de tout !

Superbe vue sur la mer. Face aux plages et proche des commerces, restaurants , magasin....Tout se fait à pied ! Les bus et le train sont très pratiques pour visiter les villes côtières. Appartement spacieux et bien équipé. Très agréable. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !
