CROYDE HOUSE is a high specification property occupying a spectacular position in a quiet and peaceful location, yet is only a short walk from the heart of picturesque Croyde village and its many amenities. Best of all, this property is also within a few minutes walking distance from Croyde Beach and the sand dunes.

Beautifully decorated in neutral colours throughout, the cream carpets and the warm-toned wooden flooring (with underfloor heating) lends a luxurious feel to every room. This modern property has good quality furnishings and fittings - a truly high quality and beautifully presented house equipped with all you require for a "home from home” experience comprising:

4 bedrooms, sleeping 9, a stunning master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom and shower room, a family room with double-bed, single bed and en-suite shower room, a 3rd double-bedroom (zip & link bed, can be made up as a twin if requested), a twin-bedroom, family bathroom, separate downstairs WC and shower-room for your convenience, large lounge (overlooking the beautiful garden), 2nd lounge (children's den), a high-specification well-equipped kitchen and utility room and stunning lounge overlooking the beautiful garden.

This home offers some of the best views in Croyde and surrounding countryside, particularly from the beautifully manicured garden with hot tub. CROYDE HOUSE offers an ideal home for larger families, two families or groups of friends with parking for 2 cars on the driveway.


As you enter this large home, you are welcomed by the high specification open plan kitchen/dining area which has fully integrated kitchen appliances. The kitchen/dining area leads into the large lounge, which is decorated in fresh neutral colours enhanced by the warm-toned wooden flooring. This is a double-aspect lounge, with one window overlooking the secluded garden and patio doors leading out to the decked area at the side of the property where the hot-tub can be found. There is also a retractable patio awning above the patio door for that added touch of luxury. Ample plush leather seating is available within the lounge with coordinating cushions for that extra comfort and matching footstool. There is a large flat-screen SONY TV, books, games and an ipod docking station. There is a beautiful wood-burning fireplace for the cooler evenings.

The 2nd lounge is also known as the Children's den. This fantastic room is furnished with a leather sofa and entertainment is provided via the flat-screen TV.

Kitchen: The high specification modern contemporary kitchen has all the conveniences you would expect, including integrated appliances, tall built in larder fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, SMEG 4-plate hob, Bosch oven and a cafetiere. Cutlery & crockery (including children's) is supplied with a plentiful supply of pots, pans and glassware. This superb space means that nobody need be excluded from the holiday atmosphere.

Off the kitchen is a useful storage cupboard housing iron/ironing board, broom, hoover, and dustpan together with some useful coat hooks.

Dining area: The Dining area, opening off the kitchen, has an oak dining table easily accommodating 8 with Rattan chairs. Mounted on the wall, a Sony TV is a nice touch.

Utility Room: There is a separate utility room off the kitchen area leading out to the decked garden. Complete with an additional stainless steel sink and drainer, freezer and washing machine.


Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms: All the bedrooms are decorated throughout with white walls, light brown carpets with white linen curtains.

Bedroom 1: (Master Bedroom with en-suite bathroom and shower room). A wonderfully spacious room at the end of the upper hallway is the Master Bedroom with en-suite. An absolutely charming master bedroom with an elegant cream shabby chic collection of furniture comprising: a large double bed, 2 x bedside cabinets with bedside lights, a 5-drawer chest of drawers and a walk in wardrobe/dressing room. This is a single aspect room with a large window overlooking the back garden and views across the dunes to Croyde bay. A wall-mounted TV is also available for your enjoyment.

Bedroom 2: (Family Bedroom with en-suite shower room). At the opposite end of the upper hallway is a family room with a double bed, single bed and en-suite shower room, 2 x bedside cabinets with bedside lights, a white chest of drawers (3-large, 2-small drawers). A large wall-mounted TV is thoughtfully provided.

Bedroom 3: Bedroom with twins, (can be made up as zip & link double bed if requested). Good sized double-bedroom overlooking the front of the property. A double bed with 2 bedside cabinets and lights, built in wardrobe and a large wall-mounted TV.

Bedroom 4: (Twin Bedroom). A good sized room with twin beds. This is a single aspect room with a large window, overlooking the front of the property.


Luxury with 2 en-suites, a family bathroom and ground floor shower room. Each of the bathrooms has a modern look in classic white.

Downstairs Shower room: Off the kitchen/dining area, with WC, a wash hand basin and separate shower enclosure.

Family Bathroom: Located upstairs with WC, bath, a wash hand basin and shower cubicle.

Master En-suite: Off the master bedroom is an en-suite with WC, white bath, a wash hand basin and separate shower enclosure.

En-suite shower room: Off the family bedroom with WC, wash hand basin and large double shower enclosure.


CROYDE HOUSE has a large enclosed garden to the rear and side of the property mainly laid to lawn with decked patio area, pebbled surrounds, raised flower beds constructed from railway sleepers and far reaching views across the dunes to Croyde bay. This beautifully planted, fully enclosed and private garden provides plenty of space for play, relaxation and outdoor entertaining. The decked area can be reached from the lounge and utility room complete with outdoor seating and a hot tub for relaxation and enjoyment.

Parking is well catered for in front of the house with space for up to 2 cars.

Lovely house and location

we really enjoyed our stay at this lovely house - the only reason we have given 4 stars is because of the level of the housekeepers. Dirty sheets in one room - two toilets not working. dirty BBQ and no chiminea until we complained. They dropped of a new one but never appeared again to build it.Showers were so blocked that the water did not flow away until we cleaned them out ourselves.Rusty can opener.No overall instruction book left out - we found it in a drawer on the last day. Shame as the house and location was fantastic and we would love to go back again- maybe the owners should change their house keepers !!
