Welcome to Vitamin Sea!

Located in the quiet Cape Shores community, the four bedrooms, 3.5-bath home is a quick 4-minute walk to the Cape Shores Beach, Pool*, Fishing Pier, and Pickleball / Tennis Courts. You never have to leave the neighborhood or cross a busy street to access all that Vitamin Sea has to offer.

Take your vacation in this large, open floor plan home in the Cape Shores community of Lewes Beach. With four bedrooms and a family room, you can comfortably sleep 8 to 10 with plenty of privacy.

The multi-level home offers a bit of something for everyone. A large family room from the kitchen will be perfect for family gatherings or card games. Or take a few steps up to the TV room, which is the perfect spot for quiet reading or relaxing on the couch. The bedrooms on the upper and lower floors are all wonderfully set up and comfortable.

Lower Level - Queen Bedroom with a bathroom en suite with shower/tub combo.

Main Level - Kitchen, Living Room, Half Bath, & Primary Bedroom (King Bedroom with bathroom en suite with shower & tub), elevated Family Room with TV & pull-out couch.

Upper Level - Queen Bedroom, (2) Twin Bedroom, Full Bath

Outside - Front Porch (Covered), Back Porch (Screened), Back Deck, Outdoor Shower

The front porch is perfect for evening chats, and the back deck offers a view of the pond and seating for six on the screened porch or eight on the deck. There is plenty of outside living!

Lewes has installed a bike path one block behind Vitamin Sea. Hop on your bike (or use our supplied beach cruisers), and you can ride into town or cut through the Cape Henlopen State Park to get to Rehoboth. Cape Henlopen State Park features Atlantic Ocean access, surf fishing, and miles of running, walking, and biking trails.

Additionally, the home provides tremendous amenities: (10) beach chairs, (3) camping chairs, a beach wagon for all of your gear, a rolling beach cooler, (5) beach cruisers**, canoe**, (2) kayaks**, stand up paddle board**, corn hole boards, and more games to make packing easier. Additionally, there is a booster chair, Graco pack & play, and a city mini single stroller for traveling with kids.

Since we purchased the home in 2018, many upgrades:
- new beds (2018)
- new Weber grill (2019)
- new kitchen appliances (2021)
- new pots & pans, outdoor furniture (2023)

Downtown Lewes is filled with top-notch restaurants, wonderful shopping, and a quaint family feel.

This home is lovingly cared for by owners Sean & Erin and the top cleaning company in the area.

*Pillows, blankets and bath mats are provided - sheets and towels are not provided. Pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Awesome Vacation Home

The house is truly a beautiful vacation home! It’s everything that my family wanted - well designed/organized, access to beach and community club pool plus all fun amenities such as bikes, beach chairs, family games! I just feel bad for the owners that I have to give a 4-star on cleanliness because of wrongdoings by previous renters that was not caught by inspection prior to our arrival. The dishwasher was smelly and was not unloaded. The grill was dirty and we could not open the valve to get the fire started. There were instructions on all of these but previous renters did not follow.

Great house close to the beach

We had a great time staying at the house. It's close to the pool and the beach. The included bikes and equipment are excellent and such a nice addition. Thanks for having us. Would recommend.

Excellent beach house!

This house is well appointed, comfortable, convenient to bay and state park beaches, as well as Lewes and beyond. It has the best equipped kitchen of any beach house we've ever stayed in! It nicely tucked in among trees, but just steps from the pool, with view over a pond from the kitchen and porches. And it comes with beach chairs, bikes, and even a wagon, which saved us space when packing. We loved every minute at Vitamin Sea!

Second Stay at Vitamin Sea!

This was our 6th time to the Lewes area and second stay at Vitamin Sea. We love this house and neighborhood since you get the best of both the pool and beach with its close proximity to the bay and Cape Henlopen. The house is clean and well equipped with plenty of bikes and beach chairs. We enjoyed watching the Lewes fireworks from the pier as our stay was over the Fourth of July holiday. Erin is wonderful to communicate with. We would 100% stay again.

Great trip!

Love the house and location. Plenty of spaces for us to spread out when we needed alone time! Very convenient to the beach, park, bike trails, and town. Erin is a great a host!

The Cape Shores community offers a private beach, pool, fishing pier, and tennis courts. The quiet of the Lewes Bay is perfect for relaxing. The ocean is right around the corner if you want more surf.

What makes this property unique

We love the open concept, spread-out bedrooms, and natural light. The back of the house overlooks the pond, which offers year-round serenity. The rental is our 2nd home - we take great pride in the furnishings and cleaning of the home. The home is rented May 1 - September 30, giving the rest of the year for it to rest and reset. We are committed to a top-notch experience.
