We purchased Morrow's Bar and Grill in 2016 and it is now one of the hot spots to eat on Grand Lake. We also purchased 4 homes next to the restaurant and have renovated them as lakefront rentals. Our personal lake house is on the Morrow Point next to the restaurant as well. We are renovating our part or Morrow Point we all of us can enjoy it for years to come.

It is newly renovated (2018) and is in a GREAT location. It is walking distance to Morrow's Bar and Grill. The deck faces the East for beautiful, warm breakfast on the deck in the mornings and shielded from the hot sun in the evenings. The property also comes with a 10x30ft boat slip. The best water on the lake is on South Grand and this property is only a 2 minute boat ride to the main lake.

Cute but disappointing
Just so you know: when we arrived things seemed ok with the cabin. However,
1 When I got in the shower there was NO soap, shampoo whatsoever in the shower. (I found the communal soap, shampoo etc..gross..under the sink the 2nd day)
2 Because of the HVAC system, the bedroom was hot and the living area cold.
3 Commode was clogged up and it took LOTS of plunging to get it broken loose (you need a good plunger and a new toilet). Bathroom mirror needs cleaning also!
4 Floor was sticky and dirty. Seems as if it hasn’t been cleaned and mopped by the color of my feet
5 This morning when making the bed I discovered what looked like cat hair in the sheets. We don’t have a pet SOOO I’d say a guest before us did. My big concern was that the sheets could not have been changed! Absolutely gross!!
6 There were no extra sheets and blanket for the couch
7 Had to plug coffee pot in front of microwave because of lack of receptacles.
8 It needs to be noted by you on the website that the restaurant is not available. That was a big reason I booked your place
9 WiFi was not reliable and worked very little!
Here’s my point. I had to pay extra for a cleaning service to stay here. Obviously your service hasn’t cleaned! Look under your bed. There is a bottle of something along with nastiness! When I pay for a rental I expect things like soap, shampoo and extra covers. Also clean bed linens and floors. There is no excuse for this. I do expect a some refund. $50/night would have been more than generous! In spite of your cute cabin, there was too much wrong to give a good review! Thank you
This is an EXTREMELY disappointing review. While we are definitely sorry you had a bad experience we are also confused. The house was 100% cleaned and sheets washed prior to renter arriving by the same cleaners we have always used and never received a complaint. Renter was given cell phone number for both of the restaurant owners who live on site. Renter chose not to call either one of them about ANY of these problem so there is no way to address any of the claims that are being made. In addition, we were never contacted through VRBO about any problems. Renter did indicate to us that she was disappointed the restaurant wouldn’t be opened prior to her arrival so we CONVINCED the restaurant owners to open one more weekend to help make the renters weekend more satisfactory. In addition, the renter talked to the one of the restaurant owners and not only did she not complain but she said the cabin was great. We are not perfect and the onsite restaurant owners have had to address minor problems during stays but that is why they are there. We provide 24 hours access onsite to remedy any problems immediately. We have refunded a few renters in the past when a problem couldn’t be remedied onsite (water heater malfunction, water leak) but it is hard to help when renters don’t use the resources available to them. If you are looking to rent this cabin, I am afraid this review is VERY misleading. You will get excellent service and a clean comfortable cabin.
