An excellent place to stay for a restful holiday. The house is well equipped, well maintained, quiet and well placed for enjoying the area. The owner is very helpful. The local shops provide basic needs and the restaurant 'Le Tuquet' is great value.
Altogether highly recommended.
A great holiday in a beautiful house!
The tranquility of this location for a peaceful and relaxing holiday would be hard to beat!
The house was gorgeous and we look forward to returning very soon.
What a great gite. We stayed for a week and felt super relaxed there. This gite is as secluded as I was hoping for - in full on coutryside. The photos don't actually do it justice in my opinion - the rooms looked better in reality. The views over the fields when having evening drinks on the back terrace are lovely. The fabulous weather helped to make the holiday perfect and we definitely needed the pool to cool off.
We loved the local town of Issigeac and also travelled to Limeuil, Les Eysies and Sarlat . Another trip worth doing is to St Emilion to buy some wine direct from a vineyard.
Magalie had a lovely manner, she arrived to check if we needed anything and left us to our own devices afterwards. That is just what I want, someone on the other end of a telephone/email, without getting in the way.
We will be back some day. Our only regret was that we drove there. Next time we will be a little more organised and get flights and hire a car - it's a long slog from the UK by car.
