Clean, quiet with wifi, but not ideal for small children

Positives:

3 good sized double bedrooms

good wifi connection

Clean, well maintained

Very responsive owner (asked about a high chair and he dropped it off within an hour)

Nice ~10-15 minute walk to town centre

Shutters on the outside of most windows provide good security and blackout.

Negatives:

For our young children it was not suitable, they are 3.5 and 1.5 years old. (I can imagine if the children were over 6, it would be suitable)

- the garden is private but not secure and after a long summer, the ground is very hard and uneven (lots of falls for toddlers),

- the access to the house is through a student accommodation building, which relies on people closing the front door to prevent strangers walking through to the house. (even with it secured for entrance, it cannot be secured for exit, I presume for fire escape reasons)

- No dishwasher

- No linen provided

- No bath only a shower

Owner's Response: I'm sorry that my house did not meet your expectations despite a very detailed description. You had asked me questions I answered (safety of the stairs, etc ..) and it is in knowing that you have booked. On safety for your young children very active, I must say that booking on four concerns a family with young children in ages and yours visibly given the comments left, I found that my house is not so dangerous it .... the best security remains the vigilance of parents. the fact that there was no bath but a shower, no dishwasher,, again just read the description of the house that you have inquired about what made the house. it is unfortunately a misreading your hand and I can not do much about it. About the security of the house, doors and windows are locked, access to the house is also closed by a closed door and there are no problem with security in VANNES.

A very clean property that is extremely well located to take advantage of Vannes.

The property served as an excellent base for enjoying the very pretty town of Vannes. It is possible to enjoy a meal and drinks in the centre of Vannes within minutes! We visited with two dogs and we were all made to feel very welcome. The only improvement we would have appreciated would have been proper reclining chairs for the garden so that the nice sunny days could have been truly taken advantage of. Overall we really enjoyed our holiday in Vannes and thank Stephane warmly.

Modern, clean house close to port

The house was as described- modern fully-equipped 3-bedroomed house with good wifi and a private garden. The house is situated behind a small apartment building with plenty of both private and on-street parking available. The street is in a quiet residential area only 10 minutes walk to the restaurants, shops and historic ramparts of Vannes. Merci to Stephane for a very pleasant stay!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Vannes. La maison est très agréable, très bien située, au calme et néanmoins toute proche du centre historique. Merci à Stéphane pour son accueil.

Uitstekend onderkomen met grote tuin in de nabijheid van de haven,park,winkels en centrum

Woning is van alle gemakken voorzien.

Interieur niet typisch Frans landelijk maar wel typisch Ikea.

Maar daar is niets mis mee!

Wat ons betreft was een vaatwasser functioneler geweest dan een wasautomaat. Maar als je wilt wassen: in de tuin vind je tientallen meters waslijn (met knijpers uiteraard)

Prima WiFi in en rondom het huis.

Pluspunt: badkamer en toilet gescheiden.
