Renovated Feb 2014, at very heart of Cannes, Full Sea And Harbour View

Besides its exceptional location in the very heart of Cannes, this flat offers a large and bright living area with open plan kitchen, with a stunning view on Cannes' vieux port (old port) and the recently-renovated “Quai Saint-Pierre”.

The 2 bedrooms face the opposite side, which is the main pedestrian street of Cannes (Rue Meynadier). The apartment is located on the fourth floor of a building without an elevator therefore it might not be best suited for families with small children or the elderly.

The flat has been renovated early 2014 to meet the standards we want to offer to our guests (please see our other flat ref. 1012962).

This is an ideal place to stay both for congresses and for holiday makers, who both will appreciate that the flat is in the center of Le Suquet (Cannes' hilly old town), so just go walk down a few steps to be surrounded by a multitude of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.

The Palais des Festivals is only a 5 minute walk along the seaside and for those on holiday, the beaches (La Croisette and Plages du Midi) are both less than a 5 minutes walk by the sea side. The Marché Forville is located just behind the flat and we highly recommend a visit there to see the local French vendors selling their cheeses, fruit and veggies, charcuterie, fresh cut flowers and a wide array of French gourmet products.

Shopping is everywhere and Rue Meynaider has everything one could possibly look for: souvenir shops, cheese and wine stores, french bakeries, clothing stores, pharmacies, grocery stores and many, many restaurants to choose from.

So enjoy the restaurants, the old town, the beaches, the shopping or just stay in the comfort of your lovely flat with a glass of champagne and enjoy the full sea view and life in the south of France, from sun rise till sun set.

Dass wir unseren Aufenthalt im März/April 2014 hier so genießen konnten lag auch ganz wesentlich an dem nahezu perfekten Domizil.

Das Appartement ist ideal gelegen, gepflegt und bietet alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. (u. a. sehr komfortable Betten ) Der hervorragende Obst- und Gemüseladen im Erdgeschoss ist eine Augenweide, und auch alles andere was man braucht, gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ebenso ein günstiges Parkhaus.



Nicht zuletzt war unser Gastgeber Alain außerordentlich freundlich, immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit.

Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben.

Loved the convenient apartment with spectacular views of the harbour and the cruise liners which came in every other day!! In the Old Town of Cannes with plenty of excellent restaurants. Alain was extremely helpful with any questions!!

We didn’t want to leave!

A truly beautiful view awaits you after climbing the stairs – the photos do not exaggerate! The apartment is tastefully decorated and well equipped, and we were all very comfortable and slept extremely well. Our correspondence with the owners was easy and they always responded promptly. They even supplied an armchair to supplement the seating arrangements! No car is needed, since you can easily travel by public transport, and everything is on your doorstep: the beaches, the Croisette, the boats to the Iles de Lerins, le Suquet, the train station, etc. Marche Forville, with its wonderful selection of local produce is very close by and you are surrounded by a huge range of restaurants to suit every budget.

A fantastic property to enjoy all that Cannes has to offer. We will be back!!

Cannes - Ideal location

We are a family of four, 2 adults and 2 teen daughters and had the pleasure of spending 6 nights in Alain's beautiful apartment on the riviera. Firstly, the apartment photos do not capture how wonderful the view really is and the location could not be better. There are literally hundreds of restaurants all around, the Forvielle markets are almost directly underneath selling exquisitely fresh cuisine from fruits and vegetables to homemade tapenades, cheeses and fabulous pastas (to die for). The apartment is well appointed, clean and modern. If you like to cook, there is sufficient equipment and if you like to have a drink and take in the view there are every variety of glass to enjoy your favourite drink. We were very comfortable in the main bedroom and if you left the door open you could wake up to the most glorious riviera view. Our girls were very comfortable in their twin room. Bathroom is separate from WC which was great and whilst both were small they were very well appointed. We have been travelling for 5 weeks and this is the first apartment that actually provided a variety of bath towels (e.g.: hand towels, bath mats and bath towels). We were in Cannes for New Years Eve and decided to watch the fireworks from our apartment. Unfortunately we could only see some high ones as the view was obscured by Hotel de Ville. So if you need to see the entire pyrotechnic show you will need to go down to the Croisette. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the near future. Thanks Alain for renting a great apartment and providing timely contact.

Excellent apartment, amazing views, great location

The apartment was well located: 8 minutes walk from Cannes Train station, 5 minutes walk to the harbour to catch boats st St Tropez, Monaco and the Iles de Lerins and next to the bus station. Fresh Food Market 2 minutes walk away most days! The view was incredible morning and night! The apartment was perfect for a family spending most of their time out and about and the rooms were clean and functional. Constructive feedback would be: a non-slip mat in the shower and and smaller saucepans for the induction hob would be better as you could not cook with two pans at once which meant self cooking took a while. 4 flights of stairs with luggage may not be everyone's cup of tea, but the view and apartment were worth the climb. The owner also kindly provided a cot and a high chair for our one year old and came to the apartment to set these up for us! We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return ourselves!

Best location Cannes

Location - Location - Location !!!

That's what it's all about when you rent this apartment. The absolut best location in town, and without compromising the interiour and luxus of the apartment.

Clean, nicely furniture, quality bed and all the facilities you need the kitchen. Also close to a parkinghouse, which for us were really conviniente, so we didn't have to spend time on that issue.

Defently coming back.

Top location, well equipped, perfect short break

Lovely flat/apartment well placed in Cannes. Everything you need is one your doorstep and the rest of the town is nearby for you to explore. Clean, modern, well equipped, with a good view of the harbour. Lively in the evenings, relaxed in the day. Would recommend for long weekends to get a feel for Cannes.
