About the property

Old house of 18th restored in the river in the historic part of the village of Chantemerle.

The return is on skis to the door and lifts 80 meters from the house.

A few steps from the house, shopping and entertainment of the village on one side and departures for all the activities of the other.

4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms:

- Two double bedrooms with bathroom and separate toilet

- A double room

- A triple room for children (two bunk beds and a single bed)

- A bathroom independently

- A separate toilet.

A garage is at your disposal for your luggage, skis and all the equipment you want. This gives the interior of the house.

In addition to individual radiators, the house has a wood stove for the common areas and a fireplace in the vaulted great room that includes the living space and the open kitchen. (provided wood for the stove and the chimney).

The thick stone walls of more than 80 cm, vaults and antique wood give a unique character to the house, while the renovation brings her comfort.

Perfect ski chalet

A year ago, I arranged a weeks stay in this chalet for me and 7 friends (3 couples and 2 single males). I could not have wished for a more perfect place to stay.

Personally I feel that the place from the front is the prettiest chalet in the area with real character. But also if you were to go inside and look out the windows, you will see a gorgeous crisp river and the beautiful surrounding village.

There is a large garage to the right of the chalet to leave boots, skis, sleds etc. And further right of that, you will see the end of a green slope which finishes right at the front door of the chalet - once discovered, this was an amazing extra benefit to the property.

Inside, you first see a wood burner which worked amazingly, onto a large lounge and kitchen which is great for entertaining with friends after. The bedrooms were spacious and ensuites/walk in showers were fabulous.

I could not fault one bit of the place and neither could anyone else in my group.

The owner and his helpers were great English speakers and very attentive to our needs both before, during and after the trip.

beau chalet bien équipé, situation idéal par rapport aux pistes /village

seul bemol le salon n'est pas confortable et trop petit, uniquement prévu pour 4 personnes et du genre pouf ( les enfants aimaient bien)

il serait bon de prévenir les gens que le salon du chalet ne dispose pas de fenêtres !!! Ha si une toute petite fenêtre à côté de la cuisine pardon.

Restons dans le salon, il faut bien s équiper car le garage situé à côté du salon n est pas isolé et refroidit la pièce en permanence. Les canapés alors la c est le top. Il est impossible de s assoir et n imaginez pas vous assoir à 9 c est impossible (à tour de rôle peut être). Pour vos skis il y a un bien un garage non isolé. Il est possible de laisser en consigne son matériel, ne pas hésiter. Pas de machine à laver le linge et la laverie est à 2 km. Apportez vos rallonges électriques également afin de brancher l appareil à racquelette.

Bref c est tellement dommage car le chalet est tellement beau que le fait de vivre dans le noir et au froid c est juste pas possible.

Fabien fait son maximum pour vous aider mais il est primordial que le propriétaire explique clairement les désagréments de cette maison. Au prix de la semaine c est le minimum.

Mon épouse qui ne skie pas à passer une semaine déprimante.

La station en revanche est top et les remontées sont très proches.

Très bon séjour

Très bon accueil, bel endroit au pied des pistes au cœur du vieux village préservé. Maison rénovée avec goût dans l’esprit de l’ancien avec le confort moderne, bien équipée.

La station est à la fois familiale et dynamique. Elle est véritablement montée en gamme ces dernières années.

Toutes les prestations sont accessibles, le temps est souvent beau, en tout cas cette semaine, il l’a été.

En plus, le feu d’artifice et l’arrivée du père Noël étaient juste à côté de la maison. Les enfants ont été émerveillés.

Très agréable

Avec Fabien pour nous recevoir et nous aider tout au long du séjour, tout allait comme dans un palace…ou presque.

La maison correspond bien à l’annonce. C’est beau et confortable et vraiment au pied des pistes.

Nous avons pu profiter de la vie du village en restant près de la nature avec le bruit de la rivière qui coule devant.

J’ai beaucoup aimé cette impression de cocon que l’on ressent dans le salon vouté avec cette grosse cheminée qui crépite.

Il faut rajouter un peu de place dans les frigos pour que tout soit parfait, sinon, l’équipement est très complet et le confort, dernier cri.
