Very nice property would recommend to large family’s and groups also fantastic garden
Absolutely fabulous !
I can’t praise this house and its surroundings highly enough. It’s immaculate , comfortable and delightfully furnished. We decided to have a family get together to celebrate many birthdays, anniversaries and significant milestones. . There were 10 adults, 8 children (between the ages of 3 and 14). and one spaniel who loved running around the field. There was ample room for all of us. The games room was a favourite with the children. The views are delightful. We will return and make it an annual event and recommend it to friends. Many thank to the owners for a memorable visit.
We are really pleased to hear that you had a great weekend celebrating various anniversaries. Thank you for your very kind comments. You were certainly lucky with the weather.
We would love to see you all here on another occasion,
Very well equipped, comfortable cottage.
10 adults & 8 children (under 9) had a wonderful stay in Stanway House. The house is ideal for large groups & the extensive green areas & leisure facilities added to our enjoyment. The only problem was the stoney paths which made it difficult for the wheelchair bound member of our party to get around outside.
We are really pleased to hear that you had a good weekend and enjoyed the area around the property and the use of the games facilities.
We appreciate that the gravel drive and pathways are difficult for wheelchair users and this is something we will look into.
There is little doubt that the unseasonal cold weather affected our first 24 hours in that the type of heating once off could not respond to our needs. It was cold in the house. We have experienced similar before but the availability of eg wood burning stoves off set this.
We did not appreciate that the lounge area was so separated from the kitchen area. The obviously broken towel rail in the downstairs bedroom by the kitchen was annoying as was the shower in that ensuite which must have been fitted by a tall plumber! It would be helpful to fit a hand rail in that shower too.
Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was furnished adequately. A blocked shower drain was attended to immediately.
Thankyou we had a good time.
We are very sorry to hear that you were initially cold in the cottage. We have a variety of electric heaters which we would willingly have provided if you had contacted us.
We have ordered a new towel rail for the downstairs ensuite - many apologies for the inconvenience.
Despite this we are really pleased to hear that you had a good time.
