About this property

Relax and enjoy our guest house in the beautiful Lancaster County countryside. This spacious home is perfect for large families and is close to it all with lots of beautiful sightseeing in the Amish community and the village of Intercouse. On the main floor you can enjoy cooking in our well stocked kitchen and enjoy each other’s company at the large dining room table that seats 12. (We also keep a child’s high chair there if needed) Also on the main floor is a large living room with a flatscreen tv, a full bathroom, laundry room and an enclosed office with a futon bed. The upstairs consists of 5 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The large backyard is perfect for family games and campfires. (Firewood provided) There’s plenty to see and do or just relax on the front porch and enjoy the surrounding fields and pastures and watch the buggies go by. We would be honored to have you as our guest!

Weekend getaway with family!

Comfortable clean and spacious home that is very conveniently located with everything you need to feel at home. The host was very responsive and helpful! Beautiful backyard and beautiful views of farmland in the front. Would definitely stay again!

Sight and Sound Trip

The house was a great place and was very convenient to Sight and Sound and local shopping areas. We enjoyed our stay immensely! The only reason I am giving 4 stars for the accuracy of the online listing is that the house was attached to another house and the address on the listing isn’t for this property, it is for the house next door.

Excellent weekend

GIRLS GET AWAY RETREAT

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Esh Country Guesthouse. We were welcomed by some delicious homemade whoppie pies. Thank you Verna. This was the perfect place. It is close to many attractions, farms... one up the road called Breezy Valley Farm where we found fresh veggies, free range eggs, fresh yogurt, milk, smoothies and really yummy fiber balls. There are many shops, and restaurants to choose from. The home lacked nothing. It was super clean and very spacious. It is right on a main road, so you can hear vehicles passing by, however; I personally had no problems with that because I found my bed to be very comfy and I had a great night sleep. Verna was quick to respond to any questions I had and helpful in many ways. I can't wait to visit again with a larger group and enjoy the outdoor area, which we didn't get to use this time around.
