Lake Natoma is literally steps away, bring your bikes, kayaks, or anything else that floats. Your backyard is the American River Parkway and the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. Many miles of hiking and biking paths straight out your front door, drag you kayak 300 yards to launch or drive to the Negro Bar boat launch 1.1 miles, CSUS Aquatic Center 2.1 miles, Folsom Lake boat launch 6.0 miles, (Lake Natoma is a 5 MPH and Folsom Lake boat launch closes when lake level requires). This is a very quite neighborhood with a rural feel, when in fact you are 2.3 miles walking distance to Old Town Folsom/Sutter Street.

A great family get-away house!
Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this house!! We felt well rested in all the comfy beds, the linens were great, and everyone even commented on the nice pillows!
The kitchen/dining area was such a great set-up to cook and hang out! We all fell in love with the view from the back of the house!
We even saw over a dozen wild turkeys on Thanksgiving Day no less! We took advantage of being within easy walking distance of river- front trails- beautiful!!
Old Historic Folsom was an easy 5 minute drive- which was so quaint- great coffee- old style taverns- cute shops-& even free parking in the ramp!!
I would heartily recommend this clean cozy house to anyone!!
Thank you for your kind words.
Nice vacation home
Our family enjoyed our stay. Nice, quiet location. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed being able to walk out onto the backyard deck in the early morning to look out over the wildlife reserve. Would have only one caution: the home does have several stairs/steps (upstairs bedrooms and "sunken" living room).
Perfect for every kind of vacationing!
Loved this vacation rental! From a hot cup of coffee watching wildlife from the back deck to very comfortable and cozy bedding at night, this house has it all for pure enjoyment!
Home owner is such a delight to rent from and super responsive!
Very Clean and spacious in a very quiet neighborhood. We Loved the property and definitely would stay there again.
Great place to stay in the Sacramento area
We had a good experience here. It's a great house in a nice, quiet location. There were a couple of glitches, such as no hand soap or shampoo in the master bathroom, but those were minor. We'll stay here again if we're ever back in the area.
Our sincere apology, a detail we will not overlook again.
I am sorry,
John was very responsive and kind.
The view from the back deck is very pretty. The house had most of what we needed. That may just be since we stayed almost 2 weeks. I would have liked more cooking utensils, sharp knives, there were no extra garbage bags, and no extra pillows or blankets. Being able to walk to a hiking trail down to the bike trail was cool. Thanks John for letting us stay at your place!
