Very cozy cabin get-a-way!
I planned my trip to Maine to hike in both Baxter State Park and Acadia State Park. This cozy cabin was located between and was perfect for what I was looking for!
The cabin has so much charm and is private in location. I enjoyed my walk down to the dock every morning just to breathe the crisp autumn air and the views.
Very satisfied with stay and choice in cabin.
A cozy cabin for two!!!
My husband and I had a wonderful time. Cabin is cozy and clean. It was a great way to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin had everything we could need. Gail was super friendly and greeted us with open arms. The area was in full autumn colors and absolutely beautiful. The lake was crystal clear and Gail provides kayaks so you can explore. Another great way to see the fall colors. I highly recommend this little cabin for 2. I will definitely rent it again.
Amazingly cozy, adorable cabin! Perfect getaway
I rented Gail’s cabin to celebrate my 29th birthday, and it was everything I could have wanted and more for my special weekend. The cabin itself is adorable (the perfect size for one or two people max) and is located in a quiet location on a lake- which made it the perfect getaway from the city/chaos of everyday life. Gail also has a privately owned dock by the lake with two kayaks and life preservers- which we loved using! The dock was also an amazing place to sit out and have coffee or tea in the morning.
I had the pleasure of meeting Gail very briefly and she is incredibly sweet, kind and welcoming.
I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for the perfect getaway, and I already can’t wait to go back!!
More than expected!
When booking this cottage we were looking for a home base to visit Acadia and the surrounding area. Little did we know we would fall in love with this cottage and Phillips lake. The cottage is adorable and very clean. Gail has provided everything you would ever need! The lake is wonderful! The water is clean and clear and there are kayaks for your use. There is a dock to just sit and hang out. You can also stroll along the abandoned railroad track that runs along the lake. There are a lot of steps to get to the lake but very do-able. With traffic, it takes about an hour to get to Acadia. Of course August is the busiest month, so to be expected. There is a family grocery store nearby for anything you forgot. The Lucerne Inn is right down the road on the lake. Make sure you go for the Happy Hour food specials. Delicious! Gail is a wonderful host. She lives right next door but give you your space. We loved our trip and would highly recommend this cottage!
Perfect little getaway between Bangor and Bar Harbor
Cute cabin in the woods. Access to a small lake with canoes! Think you might want a tiny house? Try this out, it will help you decide. Actually, it's a bit bigger than a tiny house. This house holds quite a bit. It had everything we needed and more. Great location without the crowds of Bar Hatbor. Quiet and peaceful. The owner goes out of her way to ensure you have a pleasant stay and is quick to answer any questions or concerns.
Charming cabin by the lake
My husband and I traveled from PA for a vacation to Acadia National Park. The cabin was great, full kitchen (saved us so much with packing our own food to pack/cook) The loft bed was high up so we wound up bringing a blow up mattress and still has plenty of room to move around, I personally have a slight fear of hights. The lake is a short walk down from the cabin. The drive from the cabin to Acadia (with traffic and stoplights) took anywhere from 45-60+ mins.
Gail was wonderful to deal with. Very accommodating and so quick to respond to any/all question we had. We would definitely stay here again if we get back up that way.
