We very much enjoyed our stay at Styles Brook 108. It is truly a warm, cozy home, and is large enough to provide a beautiful, well stocked venue for my wife and I, and as well, for our daughter and her family. [Meaning 6 people.]
The only drawbacks were the following, none of which were reflective on the owner, or which precluded us from a most enjoyable stay: There is apparently no way in which to turn on the sidewalk lights, adjacent to the parking area for cars, so at night, walking on icy terrain is concerning; A beeping sound existed for a couple of hours, due to a faulty battery in the smoke detector, which our daughter and her husband eventually found and figured out how to remove; Lastly, and most certainly, something beyond anyone’s control, is the open space of the bedroom loft, meaning that where my wife and I had our upstairs bedroom the structural opening just above our bed, results in all television utilization, after one goes to bed, for those remaining just below on the main level, and/or for children awakening too early in the morning, was not ideal.
In finality, let me reiterate that we very much enjoyed our stay, and would return if offered the opportunity. This is a delightful home!
Conveniently located townhouse, 10 minutes walk to the village. Also good shuttle service to the base of the mountain. The townhouse is cozy and spacious, worked very well for 2 families of four. Nice woodburning fireplace, well appointed, we would definitely return.
This place was really special and perfect for two couples with 3-4 kids! Great to have a real wood-burning fireplace in a cozy, homelike setting. The townhouse was very well appointed and had everything we needed. It is really convenient to get to and from the base lodge, and right across from the Fitness and Training Center, yet away from the busy area of the village. The layout is nice with three levels and an open main kitchen/dining/living room. Would definitely return to this rental!!
I don't want to review this unless I get first dibs next year. Great spot for our needs. Convenient, clean; works for families with kids. Not saying any more!
8 of us stayed here for a weekend of skiing in 2007. Our experience was fantastic. The townhouse had everything we needed and was fairly close to the slopes.
Super close to the mountain (you can walk to the lift), this house sleeps a family of 8. It's great - two master bedrooms and one room with two bunk beds for the kids and guests. Fully stocked and functional kitchen, great decor, cozy, family-like space. Wonderful rental, we had a great time.
