Hi! We are a family of five, living sustainably on a 117 year old farm! We are flower farmers, run the BnB and conduct antique sales.
Meg & Terry purchased this House in 2010
Why Meg & Terry chose Brighton
This is a very unique and beautiful property! With beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains, flower fields, the all natural swimming pond and lots of peace and quiet. The perfect place to reconnect with loved ones and re-charge yourselves!

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Red Daisy Farm. It was peaceful, quiet, and all that the listing stated. Great proximity to the Denver airport and Rocky Mountain National Park.
we loved our stay, it was in the country but not to far from towns and activities. the owners where awesome and very welcoming and the property is a must see
Flowers, prairie, and mountains
Red Daisy Flower Farm great location for a sister reunion near Brighton. Meg most welcoming, although obviously hard at work on this busy working farm. She had stocked frig with some basic breakfast, gave us directions to the best grocery, and even came over to fire up the gas grill. Mountain view in a quiet setting with big trees, fields of flowers, (too late for the lilacs, but roses in bloom and others I’d wished we’d had identified) and a swimmable pond, if too cold yet this wet spring. Some of those cut flowers brightened the house.
House was a nice size, tasteful, clean, well-supplied and comfy. Fresh individual soaps would be nice. Everything worked fine, except the internet, which was iffy at best, with two different providers. Huge TV with lots of channels if you want, but the variety of nice places to sit outside called to us. The place was great for our needs, we wished we’d had more time, and I’d stay again for sure.
Not this rental necessarily as for communication, but the VRBO system not friendly to Safari browser (the default on an iPhone, use another) and that mixed up communication on the road.
Absolutely amazingly stunning scenery! Beautiful accommodations! Wonderful owners who were very friendly. I plan to make this a yearly trip.
The place was beautiful as you would imagine. The overall experience was nice. If I had to do it all over again I would, however there were things I wished I knew. The owners live extremely close. Their home is right outside the pool and you have to walk down to the rental property. The area you set up your event is actually on their yard of their home. There are curtains on every window, except the windows facing the owner's home, which felt done purposefully so they could watch in. The day of the event I was waiting for them to cut the grass and do the yard work, so I couldn't start setting up until noon. I really wished that was done before we arrived, because it made me late starting my event. The husband was really friendly and helpful. He asked if he was invited to the party, but it felt uncomfortable at times as if he was watching what we were doing. There are tadpole and a snake in the pool. It wasn't bothersome, but something to be aware of. Also i booked my stay during the slow season so my check out time was listed at 11 AM. That morning Meg asked when I was leaving because check out was at 10 and she needed to start laundry. She realized my reservation was made during the slow season and said it changes in the summer, so make sure you're aware of that if you plan ahead like me. All information that would have been helpful to know before I booked my stay there.
Comfortable, clean, wonderful home
We were delighted with the Red Daisy farm cottage! Comfort was consistent in the beds, furniture, and overall ambiance of the home. Meg and Terry were so kind and helpful. It was so fun to explore the property and the many gardens and greenhouses, pond with waterfall, views of mountains and a wonderful sunset. The cupboards and refrigerator were full of every condiment you could ever need. If it weren't for all the great restaurants in Brighton, we would've just nestled in and never left this great piece of paradise. We hope to return again soon!
