About Doug Steinke

We are a family of four. We have had our family grow up on the hill over the last fourteen years. If you have a young family or teenagers, our condo and location has much to offer. Our condo is a family owned unit. We rent for about half the season and use it personally for the remainder of the season. Every year we try to do an improvement to our condo to keep it modern and well maintained.

The location and setup of the condo is ideal for families with children. Easy access to the hill and walking distance to the village.

We live in Kelowna and are always available should any problem arise.

Why Doug Steinke chose Kootenay Boundary E

Big White is only an hour away from Kelowna and the airport. It is the best ski area in the region. While skiing is big here, there is something for everyone, even if you aren't a skier. Big White's focus is the family, and they have many awards.

Great access to airport and transportation are some of the reasons we chose Big White Resort for our winter home.

We chose our ski condo because of the great layout for families, and the best in class ski in/ ski out. Many building may make claims of good access, but we literally walk out the front door and are on the mountain.

Great views and overlooking the ski run .......all adds to the great Canadian ski holiday!

What makes this townhome unique

The Legends is a ten minute walk to the village and gondola. Experience great restaurants and lounges. No car is required.

You can see the fireworks of Happy Valley from the front windows.

There are no hallways, and very few stairs required to access our unit. Park directly in front of condo under a covered parkade.

There is nothing better than soaking in your private hot tub after a day on the slopes.

We stayed at legends 7 the first week of February. This luxury condo is extremely well maintained, with every conceivable amenity. The views from the Master bedroom and adjacent deck with hot tub are fantastic. Back door really is ON the run. Thanks for a great stay.

This this the perfect condo in all respects. Rght on the hummingbird first level. Kids literally walk out door pop on skis and off they go😁. Large but cosy.

Property seemed larger than the pictures suggested. Very clean, roomy, warm. Kitchen fully stocked. Ski in and out to the main run. Great showers. Owner very helpful. We've stayed in 4 places in big white and this is definitely our favorite.

Big White is a ski resort located about one hour from Kelowna BC. Kelowna is a lovely day trip from the mountain. Visit the wineries and enjoy the beautiful views! Yes, even golfing in March/April.

It is possible to ski in the morning and golf in the afternoon late in the season.
