5 Bedroom Apt, 3 Baths, Sleeps 9 -10 + detached unit for 5 max on demand

This luxury 150 square metre apartment can accommodate up to 9-10 guests dispatched in four bedrooms plus a 28 sqm Master bedroom with access to a private terrace with open air jacuzzi. There are many balconies and terraces, north and south facing. The furniture is design (Le Corbusier, Leolux), the linen is top quality, soft towels and fine sheets. As the owners live in this apartment and only rent it during their holidays, it is very fully equipped--kitchen, library, collection of CDs and DVDs, games, home cinema, Nespresso machine with coffee offered, etc...

The apartment is located in the 14th district of Paris, which is both residential and animated. All kinds of shops (fine food, supermarkets, bio market, clothes ...) and facilities (pharmacy, post office, metro, bus, taxi, brasseries, cinema ...) are within a short walking distance.

The street is very calm since it is part of one of the very few 'green areas' of Paris where cars run at a low speed and above all are redirected towards main axes. The apartment street opens on the avenue du Général Leclerc, a big avenue which goes strait up into the heart of Paris.

Four hundred metres from the apartment is the beautiful Parc Montsouris where you can have a walk, jog in the morning, eat on the lawn, etc.

You can catch public transports down our street. We have metro line 4, the only one in Paris which crosses every other line, so that you are sure not to take more than 30 minutes to go anywhere in Paris, many buses (28, 38, 68, 62, 88, la Traverse), the brand new Tramway (T3), and at a 10 minutes walk when you go through the Parc Montsouris, you can catch the RER B. They are remarkably practical and complete, especially the buses, since most of the time, they directly lead, without having to make transfers, to the main points of interest in Paris.

For example, you can directly reach the Eiffel Tower, Le quartier Latin, La sorbonne, le Panthéon, le jardin du Luxembourg, la Sainte Chapelle and la Conciergerie, la Cathédrale Notre-Dame, l'Hôtel de ville, Beaubourg (centre Georges Pompidou)/les halles, le Louvre, le musée d'Orsay, le Grand Palais et les Champs Elysées, all the 'grands magasins' (les Galleries Lafayette, le Printemps et Le Bon Marché), l'Opéra Garnier, Les Invalides, ...

At each end of the street you can find Vélibs' (bicycles accessible for a very low prices).

We leave plenty of information, tips, maps of Paris and of the area, guides, public transports information, and a paper we made indicating how to reach the main places of interest in the city from the apartment. We can also help you if you want to book a restaurant, a show, etc.

Comfortable home in Arr. 14

We loved staying in this Paris home. It was Three blocks from the metro. It had 4 bedrooms and a shower/bath on the third floor, a living room, kitchen and shower on the 4th floor and a master bedroom with shower, and a jacuzzi up a ladder on the 5th floor. The jacuzzi saved our tired feet! The house had great breezes through three of the bedrooms and the piano was a wonderful addition. Claire was welcoming and easily reachable by texting if we needed a question answered. The only negative is the stairs which is common with many city apartments, but great for large groups of people that wanted a more personal atmosphere.

Great family holiday in luxurious family apartment

The apartment was idealy suited for our family of 7 adults and 3 children. It was very handy for all public transport and restaraunts.

The host Claire and her family were most helpful in providing information about the area and getting around Paris. Nothing was any trouble for them at any time of the day or night.

Great Paris Apartment

We were a group of 8 travelling at the end of June. The apartment was very comfortable for us and was in a great location. It was convenient to the Metro and buses and also had plenty of nice bakeries, markets and shops. The owner made us feel very welcome and was available if we had any questions. We really enjoyed our stay, even the weather was perfect!

Bailie's Dream Come True

First, I would like to Thank Claire for her wonderful hospitality. She wanted to do so much more then we let her. That says a lot about a person/owner of a rental property. The flat was amazing! We had a party of 9-11 through the 12 days that we stayed! Claire offered information about all transportation, food, etc. Her family was respectful, kind and gracious. I would recommend that even if you have a couple of people, to rent this flat. Location was perfect, transportation was a block away, amazing cafe's and maximum shopping was available. Our street was beautiful, hot tub was most relaxing and so appropriate/specific to our special needs. Massages were out of this world and scheduled right away, they were fairly priced and the Sauna after the massage was a spectacular ending! Kitchen was well stocked when we arrived and the market was right around the corner. The big market even delivered our groceries if needed. If you want the most amazing location to explore Paris from, this is by far the most accommodating.

Glorious! My 1st suggestion!!!

No words to thank Ms. Claire. We were a group of 10 students and all were really satisfied with the apartment and her courtesy. The apartment is more than these pictures because all household items are really new.

When we remember Paris, we also talk about our stay at her apartment and of course her hospitality. We stayed in Paris for 4 days and it was an unforgettable trip. We did not have any problem with the apartment and that is why I can say that our stay was perfect!

I strongly recommend this apartment to those are looking for spending less with hotels in a large group and want obviously having fun in Paris.

A delightful introduction to Paris!

My family (including 3 year-old grandson) fell in love with the apartment! Everything was so much more than the online photos were able to show. There were so many "home" touches to the apartment, we really felt we were sharing someone's home. The provisions there to welcome us were much appreciated. The location is fabulous. Nearby restaurants served wonderful food and the Metro station was so close. It was wonderful to escape the "tourist frenzy" of sightseeing on the Ile de la Cite and return to the quiet of the neighborhood in the evening. Locals in the neighborhood were so friendly and helpful as well. This was our first VRBO experience, and it could not have gone better. We all look forward to a return trip.
