The Seabiscuit is within close walking distance to numerous restaurants, bars and shopping, the Military Museum, National Musuem of Racing, National Dance Museum and Saratoga Children's Museum, mineral springs, several spas, two farmer's markets, and plenty of grocery stores, liquor stores, and pharmacies. The Seabiscuit is only one half of a mile from Saratoga Racecourse ("The Track") and less than two miles from the Saratoga Casino and Raceway (the "Racino"). There are also two golf courses very nearby on the outskirts of town. The Seabiscuit is adjacent to and overlooks Congress Park, which has a carousel, several fountains and ponds, the Italian Gardens and the infamous "Spit and Spat". The Seabiscuit has one bedroom with a queen sleigh bed, flat screen television and spacious closet downstairs. Up one flight of stairs is a lovely living room with a flat screen television, kitchen, bar/counter, small dining table and spacious bathroom with a shower. The couch in the living room easily pulls out to a very comfortable temperpedic queen bed. The Seabiscuit has free Wifi. The Seabiscuit has one designated off street parking space outside. For those without a car, taxis and ride sharing services are plentiful in the Saratoga area. The train station is a short ride away. There are two trains daily to and from New York City (and many more several times a day into and out of the Albany station 30 minutes away). There is also a shared yard and picnic table for your enjoyment.
In addition to being in the heart of Saratoga Springs, the Seabiscuit is close to Saratoga Lake, the Saratoga Battlefield and numerous historic sites, Lake George and the Adirondacks. The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking, biking, nature walking and bird watching - as well as skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months (snowshoes are available at the Seabiscuit for your use!).
