40 sq.m luxury apartment for 4/5 people + 25 sq.m terrace with mountain views.

In a small new luxury residential building with an elevator, interphone, private parking and ski locker located a quick 10-minute walk to downtown and the golf course. Free shuttle near by, about 30 m, destination the ski slopes or downtown. One large room or studio approximately 40 sq.m in size with an additional 25 sq.m terrace with mountain views. For 4 or 5 people maximum, facing south, located on the garden level. 25 sq.m living-kitchen space with a large sliding door. Custom designed kitchen with dishwasher. 1 sofa-sleeper with a high-quality memory foam mattress (160 cm) made for daily use. Extra sleeping berths possible with a futon-type couch that can fold open into a double (140cm) bed with a single bed (90cm) installed above (style bunk-bed) it. 1 cupboard + 1 wardrobe for hanging clothes + washing machine, 1 bathroom, 1 separate toilet, 1 ski locker. Please note that animals are not permitted. The Ubaye Valley offers diverse activities from simply escape the daily grind and relaxing to participating in a variety of sports and past-times of your choice. There are numerous choices at your disposition, skiing, snowshoeing, mountain hikes and excursions, white water sports, reservoirs and Lake Serre-Poncon. Bicycle: the Valley with its 7 climbs... Bonnette Pass leaning to Tigne, Larche Pass toward Italy, Vars Pass to Le Queyras, La Cayolle Pass towards Nice, Allos Pass to Le Verdon etc... Numerous festivals, concerts, jazz festival in July, Latin-American celebrations in August...

We are a couple in pre-retirement who love to living in the Ubaye Valley. The southern yet mountain atmosphere seduced us. We enjoy the large difference between the seasons and take advantage of the variety of sports, activities and festivals possible during each one.

It is our primary home so it has all the comforts, is well maintained and available for you. We request that you respect this amazing place. We only seek supplemental revenue to help us pay monthly expenses when we are absent.

What makes this apartment unique

In a small 3-storey, luxury residential building of recent construction, only 15 apartments total, with an elevator, interphone and private parking, located in a quiet area only a few steps away from downtown and the golf course. There are only 5 apartments on the garden level that have a terrace. There are few seasonal or yearly rentals in this building as owners come and go regularly. There is a pleasant ambiance in the building as mutual respect is shown and shared by all. The apartment furnishings are modern, the decoration too, there are paintings on the walls. There is a large glass sliding door in the living area. TNT channels are available on the TV, home theatre, in short, the same comforts that you have in your own home.

Appartement très bien équipé et agréable avec une terrasse bien orientée. Très propre. Belle vue sur les montagnes. Propriétaire très sympathique et souple au niveau des heures d'arrivée et de départ. Petit bémol pour la literie, matelas assez fin et pas très confortable.

Owner's Response: Merci pour vos commentaires élogieux qui nous touchent. Il est vrai que lorsque l'on est habitué à sa literie de tous les jours, il est difficile de s'adapter à un autre lit... Ce type de couchage est de très haut de gamme avec les caractéristiques maximum: matelas neuf, en haute densité 55 kg avec mémoire de forme.

Lors de nos recherches de location, nous sommes très attentifs à la qualité et à la situation par rapport aux différents services. Tous ces critères sont réunis dans l'appartement de M et Mme DAVID ce qui a contribué à la réussite de notre séjour. Nous souhaitons souligner que rien n'a été oublié surtout dans le domaine de l'électroménager et des nouvelles technologies. De super vacances

Les Propriétaires, nous avaient fourni des documents afin de préparer nos activités (culturelles et sportives) bien à l’avance.

C’est leur résidence principale lorsqu’il ne loue pas leur appartement, donc rien de manque en confort.

L'appartement est bien situé, au calme et à 10 minutes de marche de Barcelonnette. Il est grand, très lumineux, fonctionnel et très bien équipé. La terrasse est plein sud, à l’abris des vents, et est très ensoleillée.

La Résidence et l’appartement sont très calme, il donne un sentiment de quiétude et apporte une vraie repos.

Le Golf et le bowling sont à proximité ainsi que commerces et restaurants

Les activités sont nombreuses en Ubaye. (randonnées, VTT, baignade,activités culturelles...)

Une très bonne adresse et nous recommandons cette location sans hésitation.

Barcelonnette is located in the heart of the Ubaye Valley, two steps from the border and the High Alps of Italy. Excellent local mountain products: cheese, milk, yogurt, meat, fruit and vegetables; available at the farmers market or from the dairy co-operative. Barcellonnette will seduce you with its southern yet mountain atmosphere. Amble the animated streets lined with numerous shops. You cannot miss Manuel Place with its beautiful fountain, its colored facades and agreeable terraces of the many cafés and restaurants; you will find it irresistible. You must also be sure to visit the lavish Mexican villas that were built between 1880 and 1930 by the Barcelonnets, newly returned from their home country after having struck it rich in Mexico by making Mexican cloths. You will learn more about the famous figures from the Valley, its history and traditions as well as the celebrated Arnaud Brothers' Mexican doll. The Ubaye Valley offers diverse activities; simply escape the daily grind by relaxing or participate in a variety of sports and past-times of your choice.
