About this property

The perfect place to stay for a relaxing and comfortable fishing getaway.

The home is located on Mamie Lake, which is the most southern lake of the Cisco Chain of Lakes and located 10 miles West of Land' O Lakes, Wi and only a mile off of Hwy B. This rental is geared towards fishing, relaxing, resting and enjoying the beauty of the Cisco Chain. If you want to fish the entire 15 lakes of the Cisco Chain, this is the place you want to stay. Ronald, the owner, lives next door and is a local fishing guide who has been fishing the chain for over 30 years and is on the water almost 7 days a week. He will do everything he can to help his guests catch fish no matter what species. If available, he'll even help guests clean their fish. Ronald is the younger brother of legendary fishing guide Al Knutson, who was a guide on the Cisco Chain for over 40 years. You'll have access to a huge 50 by 25 foot deck ( 15 feet from the shoreline ) overlooking Mamie Lake to enjoy your morning coffee, grilling lunch/dinner or just rest, relax, listen to the loons, or just watch for eagles. The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths is very comfortable for up to 7 guests. It's truly the best place to stay on the entire Cisco Chain if you just love to fish and want the best opportunity to actually catch fish.

Great fishing trip
We stayed for 3 nights for a recent fishing trip. Ronald was an excellent host with great information about fishing areas and techniques. There is a wonderful deck overlooking the lake with a fire pit. The use of the dock was great, especially the electric. All beds are comfortable. The house is superbly stocked with everything you can imagine. We will certainly return next year but for a bit longer. Thanks Ronald for all of your hospitality!

Fishing and relaxing
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mamie Lake! Out host was amazing and was super helpful with pointers on how to fish the lake and where to fish (we had only WI fishing licenses). We caught more fish (and bigger fish) than we have in years. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck. We rented a pontoon from Bent's Camp just across the lake. The house itself was clean, well stocked and comfortable.

Fishing trip
Ron was a GREAT host! The check in/out process was easy and access to the lake was perfect. Everything we needed for our trip was provided from electric on the dock to the fish cleaning station. We will definitely be back!

Great stay.
The house was really nice and was everything we expected except from the pictures we expected it to be on the water. It was close and we had access to the dock you see in the pictures. The homeowner was fantastic and lives right there and even took us out fishing one day. He also sent us to a few spots where we caught fish. We loved the lake chain and the restaurant just down the road.
